Gauging Interest-DTM Series

I'd be willing to host this series. I've got a website up that could support it with it's own forums and everything. We could get some official rules, tracks, and times set and get a championship going. Just let me know.

I was looking to do a Japanese DTM with the Lexus IS-F Racing Concept and the High End G37 tuned to match the specs of the Lexus, but seeing how many people are already interested in this I'm willing to help get this off the ground.

I will be doing some DTM Special Stage testing tonight 9pm GMT (ish) till about 11pm (ish). Maybe some quick races aswell after testing. I'll post the room number here once its up and running.
See the race schedule forum for details of the SS because i will need to refer to it during testing.

Hey guys, sorry i havnt been around for the past couple of nights, lots of uni assignments needed doing so no gt5 for me. Im still awaiting confirmation of takl23 about splitting the divisions but everyone seems happy by it, so probably just do it anyway, hopefully try and get this underway by the end of the month. My car needs some massive work doing to do it

, i think we should keep the car engines stock, as i don't know how they BHP outputs would change, at least they are all similarish now

Im interested too. I have all the DTM's from grinding, they are my favorites. Im just finally learning to use the G27/Playseat without any aids. Unfortunately, I fully-tuned all of them and Im not sure if those are allowed in the rules or not.

You can't undo engine upgrades but the turbochargers can be reset to default. For more info about the BHP limit and how to register look at the DTM-Series group

Looking at the drivers discussion in the DTM Group, most people would prefer a weekend race series. How about:

Race 1 (EU) next Saturday, 12th Feb @ 9pm GMT / 10pm CET
Race 1 (NA) next Saturday, 12th Feb @ 10pm EST / 7pm PST
Room to open 30 mins before for practice and qualifying

Race 1 - Nurburgring GP/D 40 Laps

I will host EU race if no one else (with a faster internet connection) will do it. Need a race 1 NA host.
