Great race for us in the US series!
Some real close and clean racing on the opening laps betwen me and S4, but unfortunatelly a second of lag costed him dearly, he gave me a tap on the left side going into the chicane and damaged his engine. I got minor damage but was able to continue on with my strategy.
Was a good solid race till I got nailed by some lagging laped traffic on lap 27 on the run up to the chicane, wich forced me to pit with heavy engine and suspension damage. I saw my 15 second lead dissapear as I crawled back to the pits. Out of sequense and off strategy due to the uncheduled pit stop I had to push hard to make the time up.
Managed to get back to the front as the others made their stops and managed to build a 15 second gap, wich started to fall in the closing laps as S4 started to shoot me down lap by lap. At the end we crossed the line 5 seconds apart for a Mercedes 1-2.

I forgot to set the restrictions of tire type before the race.

Imolared reviewed the replay and Jav, you were using racing softs??

Dont really know what to do in this situation. The additional rules say that "Tyres: Racing Medium or Racing Hard (Up to the driver)", but this is really just the set-up rules.

I think the result should stand but since Jav would have qualified on Racing:Softs, then no points should be awarded for his pole position/fastest lap (assuming he got pole/fastest lap).

What do you think? Fair compromise? This is open to everyone to have their say.

audi, do you know how to send me the replay? Do you have the race times etc.?

I was talking with the other racers and have though of just doing a simple DQ and moving everyone up one place...Seems fair to me.

I have not yet figured out how to send replays, looked a little bit tonight but I need to go to bed. I might just end up watching it tomorrow some time and then compile the information for you, Im quite sure that I have the race times, I can get them to you tomorrow afternoon, so for you it would be monday morning.

Ok,if you are happy that there was no corner cutting, excessive bumping etc. then just msg me the info. Would still like to see your race though. Sounded like a good race. I'll need:
*Grid positions
*The formation lap time (you can get this by the fastest lap time after lap 1)
*Everyone's total time (including formation lap)
*Fastest lap time and who.
*Final positions

I did, saw them open when I did my final tunning before the race and thought they were legal.
I really have'nt posted much in this trhead and just didn't know for sure, so as I saw them open I asumed they were ok to use.
