Just signed up, I would have sooner except gmail kept eating the registration emails and didn't tell me.. meh..
Anyhow, I'm an Aussie, livin' in the UK for now, and I'm a car nut (aren't most of us from OZ?)
GT has been fav of mine since GT2, in fact GT was *the* reason for me to buy the PS2 and, when GT5 finally came out, the PS3..
I prefer the real thing ofcourse but since you have to keep it legal on the streets and track days are only so often, GT is always there to take the edge off until I can get a hit of my rotor ;p (that'd be my RX8)
How did you find GTPlanet? - That'd be Google.. since we don't "search" for things anymore, we "Google" them..
Where are you from? - As above, I'm a Skip in the UK.. not nearly as nice as back home but closer to other countires.. you know what I'm saying ;p
When did you start playing the Gran Turismo games? - I'm sure I covered this.. that'd be about GT2.. I think I even played GT but it wasn't on my own console...
Do you play with a steering wheel? - Yep, got the GT edition of the Logitech steering wheel with a Wheelstand Pro.. plans for a decent seat are in the making...
What other games do you enjoy? - Mostly driving games but I also get in some time on Borderlands and Darksiders..
What are you most looking forward to doing in the community, now that you're a part of this site? - Truth be told I tend to be reasonably quite on forums unless I have something new to add.. I've never been a fan of the "Me too" posts.. It's nice to be part of another comminity though (I am a active part on the Rotary forums and a RC car forums too). Mainly I'll be looking to make friends to race with as (once I'm done with some other commitments) I'll have a fair bit o'time on my hands..
