Gear Ratio

I am having a little bit of trouble. I just bought a Dodge Viper, the regular one, and i suped it up. when i wentonto the test track to find the max speed i was only able to reach a top speed of 205.4. i know that this car can go faster because it has 931 HP. i have a corvette with 675 HP and i got a top speed of 215.4. Can anyone help me out and give me a tip to get my top speed up?

When you go to race, or go to the test track, before you hit START, scroll over to SETTINGS, open that, then go down one click to SETTINGS, then once that opens go over to GEAR RATIOS, once you do that, scroll down to the gear ratio's auto setting, and move it over to the right, and you'll get higher top speeds the more you move it over, but you'll also start off slower.
