Gear ratios help

Hi all love gt2 but for me the thing that ruins it is that it wont let me change the gear ratios and suspension etc, yet you all talk about changing them. Is there a way of doing it? Am I being dense? is it cos i have the pal version?

You need to tune your car, buy a customizable suspension, a customizable
transmission, custom LSD, and more things, then when you go for a race, go to settings, and push L1 and theres the is settings of suspensions, brakes, transmission, LSD, and aerodinamic setting.
