Gear ratios

You know the lines that are above the gear ratios on the FC Transmission?? Well those lines how should they be laid out. Should they be from gears 1-6 like in a curve, gear 1 line longest and gets shorter up to gear 6.

Or... Should the lines be next to each other at the same sort of height??

This is to get good acceleration by the way.

I keep my gear's tight but the same height, to allow for a good smooth Change just like the last gear.

Depends mostly on the power band of the car and at what point you can still have a high RPM launch but at the same time keep ratios close together. Shift points are an important factor as well.
