There are a number of things wrong with having the Nurburgring in Driveclub:
1. Each location is a country consisting of P2P, road course and racing circuit tracks. The Nurburgring wouldn't fit in unless other fictional German tracks are being developed as well.
2. It's unlikely that any real life tracks will be featured in Driveclub, because of licensing issues, and because of continuity. If they do miraculously get the rights, there are going to be fans (including me) complaining that they couldn't secure the rights to Gilles Villeneuve, Huachalalume, Buddh, Suzuka, Ruudskogen, or Knockhill as well.
3. It's completely unoriginal. All instalments of PGR featured Nurburgring, as well as Shift, Forza, GT, Grid and numerous other racing games. I for one have grown tired of seeing it on the course roster of almost every recent racing sim, thinking that that slot could have been given to another track that has yet to make its video game debut. Evolution will most likely stick to their guns and continue featuring locations that have never been featured before.
