Getting back to sim racing, cheap DIY handbrake advice needed.

Hey guys,

First post on the forum.

Im getting back to sim racing after foolishly selling my DIY g29 racing rig 2 years ago.
Unfortunately I dont have lots of money now so i cant make a custom handbrake again.
Does anyone know of a way to build a handbrake for very little money or to use any other cheap hardware as a handbrake?
This is my previous handbrake which I have sold with the rig (I still dont know how this seemed a good idea 2 years ago haha) .

If you have an old joystick, you can use that as base for a handbrake.
