Getting My PS2 Online For The Races?

As title, I just wanted to know how do I get my PS2 online and what is required for the connection? My current setup is that my PC uses the internet wireless, Via router. Now for the stupid question: Is it simply a matter plugging in the net usb into the PS2 and GO? I'll appreciate any suggestions and help.

Thank you for the links. But you've kind of dis-heartened me a little saying that virtually no one plays gt4 online anymore. I guess I'm a little too late for this bandwagon.

It's just that I want to race real people and they're hand built cars as the games AI is not good enough for me.

maybe I'll start it up again once I get mine online eh?
