Introduced in 1966, the mid-mounted V12 quickly became a popular element of a Lamborghini, and is generally what comes to mind when the marque is mentioned. The Mid-engine V12 configuration has been used for 50 years and in 5 different vehicles, so which raging bull is your favorite?

I'm going with the Murcielago because that car's SV edition is my favourite Lamborghini. I'm guilty as charged of being a punk with his hat turned backwards on this poll. Besides, the first one sounds like it has an old lady's name.

Grandma Miura down the road. Who sips tea and scrapbooks with her neighbor Elan.

There can be only one - the Muira.

Up there in the top few most beautiful cars of all time. A piece of art.

Miura, although I think for me the Countach would be a close second just for the insane styling of the thing.

Diablo is my favourite, especially the SV.
Miura is the best looking, Countach the craziest, while the Murcielago and Aventador are engineering art.

But the Diablo is the best all rounder.

Countach because I enjoyed cannonball run more than the italian job. Ok that's not really true and the miura is pure art but I'll stick with the 80's icon.

I think the answer depends on the age of the person answering. I certainly had a Diablo poster on my wall in the 90s, so that's my choice. Plus, it's the only car on the list I've actually driven.

The Countach was one of my poster cars as a kiddo. I remember arguments with my more clued-up older brother over which was faster, the Lambo or the Ferrari 512BB, and also being very excited when I got to see one close-up, but I was also aware of the Miura (I had a very cool toy one in Verde Ithaca) and over time, the older of the two has taken the lead for me. Probably my favourite car, like, evah.

As legendary as the Miura is, the Countach has always been tied for my most favorite car ever (the F40 being the other). The other cars certainly aren't slouches either, and they're all gorgeous.

I'm torn between Diablo and Aventador. But I'll have to pick the Diablo, and the Aventador a very close, nanometric 2nd place.

Absolutely the Murciélago. It is the car that got me interested in cars in the first place.

I had a Countach poster on the wall when I was a kid... I'd still have the Miura. It is basically the genesis as far as supercars go. And well, just look at it. Those hips...

Diablo 2nd, Countach 3rd, Murcielago 4th and Aventador 5th.

Gotta be the Miura. Still one of the biggest automotive icons with a V12 that carried on in every one of those other options (bar the Aventador) for nearly 50 years.

Timeless masterpiece.

This one is tough, but I have to go with the Diablo. As a kid it was the coolest car ever to me, specifically the Diablo SV, thanks to NFS: Hot Pursuit. :sly:

Miura still turns heads today, mine included. Aventador is second, Countach and Diablo tie for third, and the Murcielago is last of the listed.

Miura, by far. The Countach was too gaudy for my liking, especially later models. The Diablo took a hard hit because of the modification scene I think surrounds the car. The Murcielago and Aventador, well, because of their infamy in the rap scene. It pains me whenever I hear a Lamborghini "Mercy" or the quadrilateral A-Vent-A-Door.

semi-off topic, what does GGG mean in the thread title? I've searched this subforum and gone back to GGG #1 and I haven't seen any definition on it
