The RX-7 was introduced to replace the RX-3, but retained the Rotary engine of its predecessor. The RX-7 spanned for 3 generations before being replaced by the RX-8 in 2002. Which generation of this Rotary racer is your favorite?

I voted for the FC, since I've always loved the 80's boxy shape and subdued styling (plus hood scoop!)

FB's are super fun to drive, just like a Miata. However, FDs are like a big Miata with a bunch of power. FD all the way.

FC drives like a Foxbody without torque...

FD is mainstream btu also not just loved, some are riced. FC's are also common too, love them to death but I feel the FB's get little love lately, been forgetting them too. In that case, FB for me!

^ Yeah, that. The later model years are still beautiful cars today. I actually really want to buy an FD before Mazda releases another rotary car and the prices skyrocket like with the NSX.

I love all of them, but I'm going to have to go with the FD. All the RX-7's have aged spectacularly well, but never has a 20+ year-old car looked so fresh today as the FD. Also, there is no other sound as beautiful as the FD's twin-turbo 13B.

I vote the FC, it's really easy to make it look amazing. The FD is kind of polarizing when it comes to mods. Either you ruin the body lines or you nail it.

This is too hard. I own an FB....but I really want to own an FC and FD as well. I'm going to vote in the heat of the moment and say FC because I've been craving one for the past few months. Stock body, black Turbo II with light engine mods, coilovers, big brakes, and Ronal turbo wheels & some sort of period appropriate racing seats.

Definitely the FD, although after all these years it can be quite repetitive choice. For daily needs I would use the FB.
