I have spent 16 months hammering GT5P and thoroughly enjoying it, especially the wonderful Suzuka track where I must have done tens of thousands of laps.

Now I'm looking forward to the launch of GT5 as much as the next person, there is however a slight twinge of regret as I can't help thinking with the dozens of new bright, new shiny tracks that will be on offer, people online will naturally focus on them at the expense of the half dozen or so that have been the staple of GT5P for so long.

The current tracks may well get a cosmetic overhaul and GT5 will likely attract newcomers who have never raced Suzuka, but can't help thinking that these half dozen will be tracks that will have seen their best races run with Prologue.

A solid track is a solid track no matter what. If they are good tracks, they will get races. And with a bevy of new cars, some with damage, I think there will be plenty to do on the existing tracks still.

Depends on the structure of the game doesn't it?

If PD create championships and missions using plenty of those GT5:P circuits, then we'll all be forced to run on them.
