I'm not really a tuner, but I know the tuner's here chase ghosts around the track. so the title is kind of a tribute to you.
I tested a number of 450 PP cars in my garage against each other to see which were the quickest around three tracks:
Cape Ring Periphery
SS5 Clubman
Laguna Seca
I feel these 3 tracks are nicely sized for cars at this level, and they offer a good test of high/low speed cornering, acceleration and braking.
Some notes;
I use a G27 Wheel
All aids off
ABS-1
Sports Soft tires
All cars included every non-PP upgrade. I decided how to spend the PP in terms of weight reduction and power upgrades. I usually just balanced the car to my liking after driving it with no upgrades.
I took the cars from my garage with no additional tuning and no changes between tracks. Each car was run 2 laps on each circuit
The Elise had a Nurburgring tune for CS tires and I didn't notice until I started a session, but I didn't change it for this project.
