Give GTPremium questions

Just curious, but when I click on a members user name and click on Give GTPremium, shouldn't it show me some where while I'm in the process of paying for it, the user for whom I'm going to purchase it for? I just don't want to accidentally extend my own lifetime membership by 12 months. Also does the recipient of a "Gift" GTPremium membership receive something stating what type/duration of membership it is and who this gift came from?

When you go to the paypal screen or whatever you're using to pay it wont say anything specifically about who it's for, but as long as you clicked the give premium link attached to another user's account it should be fine. The recipient wont see who its from or get any kind of message about being premium but they can go to the paid subscriptions link in their account settings and see how much time they have just like any other premium member.

dchPSUone's answers are correct. In case you did make a mistake and happen to extend your own subscription, just let me know and I can transfer it for you, that won't be a problem.

Is there any way of adding their name into the buying process? I was very wary of clicking the 'buy' option when gifting recently as it didn't confirm it was a gift for another member until after payment was taken. I was worried that I would simply be re-buying for myself! It's not a big issue but it could have put someone off in the past and we would never have known...
