Hey,

Wondering if anyone else is having the same problem as me. I win the Fiat 500 seasonal event pretty easily, then after crossing the line the car goes into auto mode but no finish/money screen appears, it just drives itself round the Trial Mountain track continuously! Ive done the race several times and won each time, every time it does this. The only way I can get out of the glitch is by exiting the game completely :/ any thoughts?

This happens on every single seasonal event except time trial for me, so yes I have the same problem as you and I am sorry to say that I have no idea why this is happening except that this problem only occurred after the last update.

How the hell did you even manage to win it? I lose by like 10+ seconds each time... But anyways, I don't have this problem. Sure it isn't your disk/system?

Yes same happens to me and if it does finish it then goes black screen with gt5 logo in bottom right corner and freezes

Use all the track space available. Make sure you hardly ever brake and keep your foot on the throttle. Lap times should be consistent around 2:04.

A quick way of telling whether you will catch up is: on the start if the 4th lap make sure you are at least 26 seconds behind the leader.

Its not too hard to win, just tune the car up as near as possible to 130bhp without going over, and do all of the weight reduction you can. Then reduce the power to 50% with the limiter and ballast it up to 1000kg.

As for the glitch ive just managed to do it, I pause the game just before I finish on the 5th lap, if it comes up with the usual pause menu youre fine and if it comes up with a blank screen then youre screwed and you have to start again! It must be a glitch in the new update guys.. hope they sort it soon because I did a half hour B-Spec race yesterday and it did the same! So its not just on the seasonal events. Bad times until the next update..

yes, I'm not the only one with that problem. It is kinda annoying to start GT5 over and over again. But I finished all events.

It's a long shot, but....

Did you update to 3.65 firmware? It's not a mandatory update, but the 1.10 GT5 update notes state that you must update to 3.65 (without saying what will happen if you don't!).

Was going to suggest this also. It seems odd that Sony issue firmware updates that aren't mandatory - surely it can't be good for PSN or game designers if installs become out of synch in this way.

Anyway, I upgraded 3.65 first (I always research online before installing any updates) and had no problems completing this event (well apart from those associated with my driving skills) so it might be worth looking into.

I tried it out, but it didn't work.

If you have generally problems with online gaming, then maybe this could be the solution: The ULTIMATE ultimate guide to fixing your NAT

If not, then maybe your game got corrupted during the update. Then you can delete your game from your disc, reinstall & download the update again (best via Lan, not wLan).
And don't forget to backup your gamesave on a USB stick before deleting anything. ;)

Or maybe your harddrive is faulty?

Hmm, have you tried to delete the temporary network data in the options?

I'll try it.
@ ZeGermanBastorD

Thanks, but I haven't got problems with online gaming. The problem started as during the first seasonal event.

Nope, didn't help me. It's annoying. Anyone got more ideas? I uploaded the newest firmware, I deleted the temporary online data and so on..

I had the same thing happen to me the first time I won the race. Lucky for me it didn't happen the second time.

Still happening...
Done seasonal events, Seb V challenge, A-Spec and B-Spec and happens on all. Must be a corruption in the new update. Hopefully will be sorted out by next update but that will mean cars are back up to full price on OCD which is annoying.

did the race a few times yesterday, best i placed was 2nd..... then the next race it glitched on me..... money/exp from the 2nd place finish was gone....

O.O My PS3 peeped 3 times. 🤬 Hopefully not the update, which destroyed it.

Happend to me to. :ouch:

I don't know if it was 2 or 3 beeps, but it beeped. :) And i know why.

The gamesave file size increased after the patch 1.10 to nearly 50% more. Saving takes now longer &
if you leave the game during the save process, the PS3 is starts to beeping + your PS3 will restart completely!

My experience. Try it out, but backup your gamesave before on a USB stick. ;)

130bhp??? don't you mean 66bhp?

I had it too on everyseasonal, was hoping it would be fixed on the new Civic races but just the same, drives round after the end of the race and have to quit out :indiff:

I have 3.65 installed too

Hm, so I need to backup my savegame?

Hm, so I need to backup my savegame? Also muss ich jetzt mein Savegame auf ein USB-Stick kopieren, das löschen, und wieder draufkopiren?

Copy your savegame to a USB stick, then your savegame is "save". Now you can try it out.

If your savegame on your HDD is then broken, copy the one from your USB stick back to your HDD (overwrite it). Then it works again. :sly:

PS: "english only" in posts here (forum rule) ;)

I had this problem on the Supercar Festival Trial Mountain race before the update released. My car did 2 full laps before the results screen showed up. After restarting my PS3 and retrying the race the game hung on the loading screen right before I got my rewards. I haven't run into those problems since the update, but I have noticed that the update has made the game run much slower and a lot of the menus take awhile to load as well as the game data when you boot up the game. The game just feels unresponsive when navigating menus online. Enter garage, select car, exit garage, and then wait 10 seconds before the screen exits out.
