Glitchy Graphics?

Hey, I bought Dirt 3 today. Incredible game, I'm loving it... But I'm noticing that the graphics are kinda wonky. It has an issue that was in F1 2010, but it's more prevalent here... It shows textures being "stretched out" across the screen. It's weird... Anybody having similar problems?

I haven't noticed this stretched out thing, but I do see something else. I noticed if I crashed hard enough the screen would flicker with purple and green artifacts (for lack of a better word) randomly across the screen. Comes up when I do a flashback too. I can't tell if it's a game, tv, or console issue, or if it's just some kind of stylish thing CM threw in. It's like there is a bad connection or something momentarily causing this matrix-y glitch. Anyone else see or know what I'm talking about. I feel like I caught in once in a replay at a section where my flashback was stitched together with the race...

Graphics look great on PS3 but yeah I sometimes get some green tint & other strange artifacts on both of my hdtvs. I was beginning to think ps3 was going bad but this is the only game I've ever seen do this. And it sounds like others are seeing it too

It's on purpose. The cameras go like that when they crash in real rallying

Indeed but I don't think it should do it on the in car view since it's supposed to be a first person view rather than a camera. Kinda takes away from the immersion I feel when you turn the whole HUD off and then get these effects when you have a bump.

Mine does it to (ps3). I think it is supposed to be that way, but I am not a fan. I like Shift's fade to gray approach better!

Happened on my system also...two or three times.

I think it's supposed to be a digital artefact - it happens for example, for you use a flashback and you'll get it at the moment of a stitch together video when viewing replay. Or when having a crash.

It's stylised and on purpose.

Well if I were to rephrase, sometimes during my loading screen that little spinning triangle at the bottom-right hand corner is sometimes a pixelated green. I am positive its supposed to be white at all times.

I'm going to double check to see if it occurs tonight. Perhaps my game got corrupted when I tried to redeem my codes at the ps3 store while the game was running and the store was down, I don't know.

Not a fan of that pink/blocky/pixelation/static between replay camera changes. It looks like when video cards are going bad or artifacts from overclocking a video card too much. At first I thought the game was stressing my PS3 too much and it was "artifacting".

Phewwww! I play on a projector and thought this was due to either my bulb going bad or the projector couldn't keep up with the frame rate (if that's possible?) but I am glad to see this is part of the game.

I've had this REALLY weird thing happen. I was doing freestyle gymkhana in the DC Compund Depot, and I noticed that my windscreen had cracked. I did an instant replay to find out why (it was one of those railway track type things), and I noticed that some black thing briefly popped out of the roof. So I watched it in super slow-motion and it turned out that it was the driver popping out of the roof. Weird. :odd:

Yeah i know what you guys mean lol. I was playing on my PC and i was like oh **** my video card might be dieing on me and exited immediately. So instead i picked up the ps3 copy and saw the same thing and figured it happens on certain crashes/replays.

I'm on PC and I've no majorly discernible glitches like this, but anyone know how to fix the multiplayer turning to a picture slide show?

At first I thought it was glitch but now after reading this thread, bleh. Why'd they even include it in the game ? It was throwing me off during the replays. lol

It's just to make the replays more realistic so when your car takes damage the camera takes the damage and therefore has a short glitch across the screen.
