GM halts Zeta development

Psst there never was a next Camaro, maybe a concept but not a production one. At least not for a few more years. Anyways I'm sure they are just making a new platform.

 GM has no direction at all. Good thing the current GTO platform is pretty good anyways.

Exactly! Have you seen there stock prices lately? Of course they're going to cuts projects -- it's all part of their restructuring.

The main problem with GM is that the car group took over the truck group, hostily so the companies kinda messed up right now. But Mrkt said it right, they are just trying to get there stuff together. GM will never go under, they are the most powerful automotive company in the world.

Their overseas sales are dropping as well.

They better -- I was lucky enough to sell them off the shares before their price plummeted. EPS trends were a big red flag.

GM will never go under,

That's what some people said about Enron and WorldCom. I wouldn't rule out the possibility.

they are the most powerful automotive company in the world.

Based on revenues, yes there are the most powerful. However, in terms of market capitalization Toyota, Honda, Daimler-Chrysler, Ford, Nissan (even Volkswagen, can you imagine?!) are "larger" companies.

GM makes money through GM financial; that will continue to keep the company afloat regardless of what they sell.
