The GMC Yukon is a rebadged version of the Chevrolet Tahoe with subtle design changes. Alongside the standard Yukon there is the bigger "XL" model which is based on the Chevrolet Suburban. Both cars are powered by 405HP 6.2 V8's in Denali spec, and were produced from 2007 to 2014 in their second generation (10th Gen for the Suburban).

The car was built on GM's GMT900 platform which was also used for the Tahoe/Suburban and the Cadillac Escalade. The top engine in the GMC is a 6.2 Vortec V8 and in 2010 a revised engine allowed it to produce more torque in the GMC than they do in their Chevy counterparts.
