Going Quick on Hard Tires

What can I do to my setup to get more speed of my hard tires. I'm not an expert but my best guess was more mechanical grip, but how can I do it? Thank you very much for your help

EDIT: Just so ya know, it is the factory Peugeot 908 HDi FAP I'm running, if anyone know specific setup for that car on hards it would be really cool, but any general hard tire / mechanical grip tips help alot
