Hi Everybody,
I'm currently trying to tune a Golf GTI '01 because I keep running into these 3 problems:
- The car smokes up the inside wheel when accelerating out of a corner
- It understeers badly
- It doesn't handle transitions nicely (left to right turn)
Im using this car to set a good time on the Nürburgring GP/D circuit and currently can't do better than a 1:36,5
The car is fully tuned (325hp, 1065kg) and i'm using the following settings:
TRANSMISSION
Top speed = 243 (km/h)
DRIVETRAIN
Initial Torque = 25
Accel = 15
Braking = 5
SUSPENSION
Ride high - 15 / -15
Spring rate 8.5 / 11.0
Extendion 4 / 4
Compression 4 / 4
Anti roll 3 / 3
Chamber angle 2.2 / 1.1
Toe -0.00 / -0.20
BRAKE BALANCE 7 / 3
Traction controll - Off
Skid recovery - Off
Active steering - off
ASM - off
ABS- 2
Hopefully someone can help me set the car up right for this circuit.
