I want to start drifting more and get the feel for it, but I don't know what car to use. Something more on the lighter side I would suppose? Any recommendations?

I like a stock S2000 to start with. It has decent power, light weight, and its FR. With a little practice you should be able to throw it around easily.

Lol, I was thinking about trying mine but haven't got around to it yet. Does it handle well? or does it feel really heavy?

I am still dialing it in but yes even with full weight reduction you can tell it's got some heft. However it's pretty fun. I have mine sitting at around 367hp.

It's funny though, I bought one '69 Camaro and am leaving it bone stock. Then I bought another to race mod and have fun with. Then when I was thinking of making a drift car I was looking around and decided I'd kick it old school American and maybe show those Nissans a thing or two lol.

But yes it is very capable and I am confident when I get the settings nailed down it will be a lot of fun.

EDIT: Here's a pic of her :D:D:D And yes it is tacky; it's a drift car!

silvia s 13 with a few upgrade
very important change the gears to a 6 speed
use an LSD (i know it cost a lot but it's the principal thins)
and hard suspension

Personally, I love the Lexus IS-F in stock form w/ full coilovers. The 400+HP is easy to maneuver around, especially on the stock tires with everything off. I'm sure if I did weight reduction, it'd be even easier to throw around.

Agree.
I have the LM GT S2000 and it's a sweet drifter once the settings have been tuned for oversteer.

What paint u got on the wheels there? :)

Supra RZ. 700hp,and once you set it up right it drifts all day long.

put on comfort hards, custom tranny with stretched out gears and tow in the rear, set the diff to 5, 60, 60, and it will drift like a demon.
