It seems that it is that time again to say goodbye to some car models alot of us loved and like. But we don't have to be sad as some new models are coming.

Buick kills the Regal, put will put out a new front-wheel drive sedan by 2005 and considering a rear-wheel drive convertible and sedan.

Cadillac:
Cadillac cancels the Sevilla while getting ready to an ultra-luxurious sedan priced at $150,000! And you thought the XLR was expensive! A new restyled DeVille is expects '06. And the STS-V and XLR-V will get an engine upgrade boosting them to a V8 producing 400 horses.

Chevrolet:
They smack the Cavalier dead, and get ready to introduce a new Impala and maybe a Kappa-platform-based Nomad station wagon. Chevy is also putting out a new SUV, the Uplander, along with the Equinox. The Trailblazer gets an enigne upgrade, along with the SSR and the Silverado. A new van called the Express is coming out with a 12-passenger limit. The S-10, Tracker, and Venture are also dead. The future also holds a PT-Cruiser type car called the HHR. And of course the new Corvette C6. and the Colorado.

Chrysler:
The 300M and Concorde are gone, but a mid-sive '06 Sebring is on the way. A new 300 Convertible and coupe is coming. A redisnged Cruiser is coming out to showrooms in 2008.

Cross Lander:
A new car called the 244X is coming.

The Intrepid is dead. But Dodge is putting out a replacement for the Dakota. The Ram gets an upgrade, and the Ram SRT-10 becomes a quad cab. A new Ram Power Wagon is coming as well. Plus, a new Viper. The GTSR Concept is being redone and fitted to make it faster than before and enough to beat the SRT-10 by seconds. Expect it in 2007.

Ferrari:
What is Ferrari killing off? This. The 456M and the Enzo.
a 612 Scaglietti F1 model is coming next year along with a the 575M Maranello which gets an engine upgrade and new handling resembling the 360 Stradale's.
EDIT: Forgot about the new 600 Impola that is also coming.

Ford:
Ford knocks off all SVT models. They will return in 2006 with a new Mustang Cobra and F-150 Lightning.

GMC:
The Sonoma is gone, and the only things that are coming are the Envoy, Envoy XL, and Sierra getting "premium" Denali trim levels. Along with a new Canyon pickup.

Honda:
Nothing is dead, and the future holds a Pilot-based pickup with a 5-passenger compartment. A New car smaller than the Civic, and a compact, hybird SUV similiar to the RD-X Concept at the 2002 Detriot Auto Show.

Hummer:
Again, nothing gone, and the future holds a new H3. A smaller vehicle using components from the Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon. A short-box version will be coming soon after.

Hyundai:
The only thing new is a new minivan and a new Sonata in '06. Nothing gone nor changed.

The M45, and I35 are dead while an all-new, rear-drive, longer wheelbase M45 is coming spring 2005 and shown as a '06 model.

Lamborghini:
With the end of the Diablo era, the only thing new is their new Murcielago Roadster. But they say to expect some fast models to come by 2006.

Land Rover:
Introduces the LR3. After seeing one in person, its very nice. LR kills the Discovery though and gets ready to make a another, more meaner looking Land Rover that has been already shown at the auto shows in its orange color.

Lexus:
Lexus has some new models coming soon, and gets rid of nothing.

Lincoln:
A Mazda 6 type car called the Zephry, a next gen. Aviator, and the Mark LT, their version of the F-150.
Expect these in the next 3 years.

They have already introduced the Quattroporte which is their newest model. Haven't seen anything new except some sport models of the coupe.

The Tundra is being replaced by a new truck in '06 a completely redisgned truck in 2006 which is also larger. A 3 quarter-ton and diesel powered truck may follow.
Also, a Toyota Tacoma X-Runner is expect which is like a Tacome with mods.

Volkswagen:
With the R32 gone, they'll be showing off an all new Jetta that goes on sale next March. A New Passat will follow next fall, along with a new GTI and Golf. And rumor is a new minivan. The plans for a retro Microbus have been dropped.

And there you have it. The new and the dead and the companies with nothing new.
Hope you enjoy. 👍
I will let you know of anything new! :)

No info about Mazda? What gives?

I'm dissapointed about the death of the Boxtser. The 987 is nice, but the original Boxtser will always be my poor-man's Porsche of choice!

I'm happy to say GOODBYEE Cavalier. Thank you.

It's good to see American companies put efforts into smaller, civil, practical daily drivers and/or more affordable cars. The Cobalt, for those that don't know - it replaces the Cavalier, looks quite promissing, and no it wont be disapointing like the ION.

Other than that, so many cars listed there I'll stop here. And seriously, where did you copy/paste this from, because I just don't know if you put this much effort into a post---

Dude. If you wrote this out, then I appologize. But there are numerous errors and innaccurate information. Also please broaden your vocabulary! "New or dead" was in ever single feature.

Forgot:
AM DB9 wasn't mentioned. It is new.
Audi didn't discontinue the A6 series. The new one being sold soon.
Bentley Arnage is NOT selling well. The car itself is fairly outdated and overpriced. They sell only dozens a year.
BMW has completely revised an entire line for the new year, the 5-series.
Buick does have at least 1 new model, the LaCrosse.
Chrysler has new options, to name one off the top of my head, the 300C-SRT8
Dodge's coupe version of the second gen Viper will be here before 2007, I can assure that.
Ferrari can't kill off the Enzo, it's production run was limited to 399 cars. All of the cars have been delivered for a couple months now. They knew the run would be limited, they didn't "kill" it. I think they acutally increased the numbers from 349 to 399, but I'm not sure on that.
Ford is releasing a new Mustang, Freestyle, Hybrid version of the Escape, Five-Hundred and a revised Focus, to name a few.
Hummer has it's pickup version of it's H2 hitting the streets soon.
Lincoln. I think it was a typo, but it is the Zephyr.
Lotus hasn't shown anything new since the Federalised Elise at Los Angeles in January or February. In Europe, the Esprit was gone last year and they also haven't showed much other than the Exige S2
I can't begin with Mercedes, there are a few changes. To name a few, the GST cocnept will be produced, SL65 etc.
Mini is not only planning to discontinue their current car over the next few years (production costs), they are planning an extended version of their current Mini.
Porsches new Boxster doesn't look much like the 997. The new 997 Carreras are being sold in NA since mid-September, they will be completing the 997 lineup shortly (C4, C4S, Turbo, GT3 and I haven't heard of a new GT2 yet).
VW will be producing that X Concpet, the convertible/coupe.

I know my list isn't complete either, just some pretty major stuff that you didn't touch upon.

Over here we got a special version of the Esprit for the last model year, and we finally got the Elise. However, many of the cars he mentioned as "new" he meant as brand new models. The mustang is still the mustang, it's just new....just not a new model, catch my drift? And he obviously took the time to type it out, but I read the exact same article (sometimes word for word) in Car and Driver a few days ago.

Car and Driver and Motortrend both have very good "new" product watches for 2005/2006.

New as in new platform. But I thiought that the new Mustang, as your example, is new enough to need recognition.

Sorry Macca, my post seems kinda aggressive, I don't mean any offense...

Hey, I put nearly an hour just trying to put that down in my own words. How am I going to copy and past from a magazine.?

There are new platforms and such. And I know about that. All that came from Car and Driver.

So if you don't like the effort or think I just pasted that, you're wrong, and don't need to post. I don't like people who can't appreciate others trying to help them.
Not meaning you guys.

Dude, I appologized and asked you not take offense, if you did, then I dunno what to do anymore....

Alright, I appologize for that outburst. That was my fault of course. 👎

Very good work:tup:
However, the LR3 is the new Discovery. And the orange concept was the Range Stormer.

That Range Stomer was nice. And the LR3 is very cool. You guys should see one in person. Even sitting in it was nice. 👍

I think Scion is already selling the tC... But I only saw one at LAX... and that was it... It standed out sorta cause it is ultra rare (Nobody seriously considers it yet I suppose)...

The 360 is actually still being sold as of now, and really isn't dead due to this.

The 575M Maranello will actually be expected to be sold same time during the the 600 Imola. The 612 was expected to replace the 575, but it didn't. 👍
