The BBC are expected to announce that TV channel BBC Three is to be removed from Television broadcasts, and will be left as an Internet exclusive channel.

It has been done to cut costs, but is a blow to British comedy.

What do you guys think of the move?
Personally, I don't care as i never watched the channel. The BBC manage to move all of the good comedy shows to BBC's One and Two and left the tat on Three. I also think that Dave have a big say in killing off BBC Three as they show QI, Mock The Week and other comedy repeats at the same time as BBC Three is on air. Those shows have a much more loyal following and take away viewers.

No big loss considering the current programming on Three. Mainly crass reality TV, vastly unfunny comedy series' and episodes of Family Guy being repeated for the millionth time. It's been on the slide ever since the 2008 revamp.

Most of the shows I give a damn about are either broadcasted on BBC One or Two anyway, or repeated on a number of UKTV channels as it is.

The only people who will mourn the loss of BBC Three are Hipster 'Holier-than-thou' comedy cynics who think that Three had superior comedy to One and Two...

they do exist.
