I will run this for a while, tried it out and after a bit of tuning I managed to reach the finish line without spinning off course as whenever I touch the grass it drags me in. Are there any restrictions on the driving aids allowed? I'm only using ABS 1 with everything else turned off, I refuse to use SRF because I'll get in to bad habits.

Very sorry, of course - no aids other than ABS 1.

Will this screen do as a submission? Sorry about my bad writing, it took me 3 attempts to make it legible and fit on the paper.

The jump from high 42s to mid 41s is when I finally decided to map the nitrous button on to my wheel as I don't usually use it. Here is the replay, hoping I've done that right.

The screenshot could show more of the screen, however, I can discern the Goodwood monument in the background so it's actually quite acceptable.
If you have a Youtube or similar account, that would be preferable for posting of replays.

Sorry about that, I didn't think of the Goodwood proof.

I can try and make a Youtube video but the only camera I have access to is my phones and it's not that great but I'll see how it goes.

As an interesting comparison to a tuned 458, the Pagani Zonda R will be next for us to trial.

I'll have to find the credits for that, luckily I think that will coincide with the new seasonal events although my shopping list is always growing.

Here is a video, hopefully you can make out the car and what track I was on, I don't have the steadiest of hands. I don't know why it doesn't go to exterior view straight away when you select it, happens on all of my Goodwood replays. Looking at it now I see I've left quite a lot of time on track and my tuning is not very good.

Lukas, are you using a wheel? I am using DS3 and am about 4 seconds behind you after first practice.

Yes I am using a DFGT, I have had it for just over a month but am roughly on par with the times I managed using DS3 on GT5, I can't test the DS3 on GT6 because the controller has given up though.

Some advice is to put the nitrous on maximum power and it easily lasted the whole run for me on every straight. I'm only using 6 of the 7 available gears because I feel the car has more than enough power. I think I changed the brake balance to 7/4 to keep the car from spinning out as much under braking.

The 458 certainly does have enough power for Goodwood! The brake balance adjustment you suggested seems sensible, I've also set my nitro to maximum and downgeared. I have raised my spring rates 20% and brought damping and compression up one notch, and added about 1.5 degree camber both front and rear; the car still feels solid yet lithe.
