Watch a replay of a Goodwood run, and you will quickly see that at the moment of race start, we are confronted with 1/2 camera Points Of View. Subsequently, by turn 1 we are either on the 3rd or 4th shot, experiencing 1/5 camera POV's. This sort of "changing POV's" seems to happen during the rest of the run, possibly on a programmed or random cycle, and it is really cool.

Combine this actuality with the various, beautiful POV's from GT's intros and trailers:

..and the question arises: Are they programming these replay POV's using line-by-line code? Or are they able to simply "fly around" where they please during a sequence?

If the answer to question 2 is yes, then what keeps us from doing the same thing? And if we can't "fly around", can we maybe have some sort of control over the replay POV's? Wayyyyyy too many replay shots are down close to the ground and extremely close to the cars. A few of these shots in a row will give you virtual whiplash.

There is a limited amount of control during a replay. Moving the right analog stick will pivot the camera around at any time by a small amount, though more freedom would be good.

I can't see why we can't play around with camera angles more ourselves, anyone remember the eject disc trick in GT3 during a replay? You could basically use any camera view you wanted for as long as you wanted.
