oh darn, it's for 3d stuff.. I saw sketch and i was like, "WHOA a FREE 2-D DRAWING PROGRAM I MUST HAVE IT!!111".

MY cousin let me try NX 5, that's a pretty neat program. AutoCAD too but there's so much to learn before you can make anything decent.

another one of 'em 3d programs, unsure of its whereabouts but im pretty sure its relevant to AutoCAD. anywho i tried googlesetchup6 the other day and it's pretty nice.. just dont like the simplicity, it's too simplified. it's like Adobe Elements on Photoshop

I learned about this and used it a bit in my old mechanical drafting class. It's great for simple objects and general plans of a lot or building, but it's not very useful as a precision 3D modeling program. Complex shapes get very tedious and require a lot of planning to make. For that you'll have to shell out big bucks or get a hookup from a drafter buddy.

here's what i taught myself, i made it for my design class, had to design a monument..

here's the bridge to get across the moat

and here's the idea for the monument even though its not there..

i had some problems though, mainly because of the "shaded with textures" thing.. when i check it, some parts are like cut out.. the other side of the bridge had a triangular cut out on the side. i have no clue how or why..

Very nice:tup:

Unfortunately I can't use this OR read Matt's eBook of the Zombie Survival Guide cause my computer=/= admin, and I probably won't be getting my own because my parents don't trust me anymore again....

um yeah, results, About that.. we presented today, but whatever I don't want to bother finishing it, i hate 3d programs becasue when you slect to use a specific layer, you are still able to interact with other layers, with confuses, frustrastes and is a pain in the butt
