Got my G27, clunky is this normal?

I just recieved my new G27 and I am enjoying learning to drive with a wheel.The only thing is at times the feedback from the wheel is very clunky.For example when I am on a straight if I don't hold the wheel very firmy I can feel the motor rock back and forth inside the unit and it will make me the loose control if I don't grap it tight right away.Is this normal?Did the G25 do this? Has anyone else had this problem?I could still return the G27 and try to find a G25 or even a fanatec .I would appreciate any input.
 
i have a G25 and it would do this too. i found that with every game you have to adjust the FF and sensitivity settings to your liking. if that doesn't help, i don't know what to tell you.
 
If you have both wheels, which do you prefer?I wish my G 27 had a sequencial shifter.Have ever tried a fanatec 911 wheel.IT seems to have a lot of cool features but I saw a review that it has a lot of holes in it's software.I saw your cockpit :drool:,how did you put a diffrent wheel on?
