Hi,

So i received the G25 yesterday and am mightily impressed by the quality of the wheel. Feels really nice in your hands and the pedals and gearstick are ace. My lap times are shocking, but I'm having fun.

When I first started racing, the wheel seemed to be more resistant to what I thought it would be, anyone else find this? But then in my last race on prologue, the wheel became very light! Loose connection?

Now I really need to sort out a good position to be sitting in, and any help will do! So far, I have a been bag, and I'm looking round the house for a nice table where the wheel and pedals can go. Killing my back at the mo, but I'm thinking I may need to buy a chair/table. How do people go about DIY'in it at home. I've seen them wheelstand pro's but would rather not pay that much, and the space it might take...

Going to hit supercar challenge now, just typed this whilst updating

Thanks

Maybe you forgot to put in the power plug to cause the lightness?

I really haven't ever noticed temperature-related changes in wheel strength, no matter how long I race for. But my G25 (nearly 3 years old) only gets slightly warm to the touch, never "hot".

For PC use attaching the wheel to a desk should be easy enough? I've got a Fanatec Rennsport wheelstand for use with the HDTV & PS3, and that is really excellent. Light enough that you can easily move the stand out of the way, even up and down stairs, sturdy enough that it feels effectively rock solid (except the clamp for the upright beam rattles loose sometimes so you need to retighten it around once an hour).
