From the home of the sports car comes a bespoke service offering a diverse range of performance cars

I'm a one man outfit at the moment, therefore tunes won't be flying out of the hangar, but they will be thoroughly tested and finessed to the nth degree. I have a sound engineering education and come from an aeronautical background where I have worked with cutting edge military hardware.

Tunes will be split into two categories. They will each conform to a number of pre-set regulations and will, themselves, consist of a number of sub-sets.

Road Cars:
No weight reduction
No Aerodynamic Modifications
Road Tyres only
OEM Gearboxes

Competition Cars:
Racing Tyres Only
Must have Roll-cage fitted

Keep checking in as cars will be added now and then. :)

Regards.

Road Cars

Road cars are tuned for handling over outright power and pace. They will be suitable for most drivers and general "hooning around". They will be honed via extensive testing at the Nordschleife and Deep Forest Raceway. Times achieved on these tracks will be posted with their corresponding tunes.

Sub-Set #1 Super Mini FF

These are the kind of cars most of us spent our formative years discovering the thrill of driving in. Things have moved on a bit since I was in that position, instead of around 100Bhp, now these cars usually pack around 200Bhp. But that's progress.

Hey, good luck with this. Looking forward to some good tunes 👍

If you're taking requests, I'd like a racing tune for the EPSON NSX '08 on Deep Forest Raceway. Have a race coming up and would love a good tune!

2005 Mini Cooper S

Here is the first in a series of small, front-wheel drive and relatively low-powered road cars. This is where the vast majority of us start our driving career, be it in Gran Turismo or the real world.

Running on sticky track-spec road tyres, this little car can still make the front end go light, so be careful powering out of slow, tight bends. With this car, it's all about maintaining speed.

Power: 246Bhp
Torque: 30kgfm
Weight: 1180kg

Deep Forest Raceway: 1:26:645
Nordschleife: 8:08:878

Parts to buy

Oil Change
ECU Re-map
Stage 1+2 Engine Tuning
Sports Intake Manifold
Racing Air Filter
Sports Exhaust Manifold
Sports Cat
Semi-Racing Exhaust System
LSD
Sports Flywheel
Single-Plate Clutch
Full Suspension
Sports Soft Tyres

Settings

LSD:
Initial Torque 5
Acceleration Sensitivity 20
Braking Sensitivity 5

Suspension: Front/Rear
Ride Height -8/-5
Spring Rate 4.6/4.9
Damper Extension 3/3
Damper Compression 2/5
Anti-Roll 1/5
Camber 2.4/0.8
Toe -0.08/-0.10

Brakes: 3/8

All assists off, except ABS set to 1

Have fun !

If you're up to the challenge, I'd love to see any kind of Tune for the '71 Lotus Europa Special or the '62 Lotus Elan. Love those old British classics. I once owned a '65 MGB, and loved it!

I would also love a tune for the lotus europa and maybe the original Mini Cooper 1.3i.

Where are you from Biffco ? I live in Whitley Bay.

I was going to wait until I had a few more FF super mini tunes done before I started rear wheel drive cars and taking requests, but since the Europa is one of the cars I was going to do first and there's a bit of interest in it, I'll indulge. It's one of my favourite Lotus' as it happens.

Watch this space.
