It is so good to just thrash a car around the Nurburgring, I got a 6.07 at last there is still some to come off but i had so much fun doing this i thought i would share it with those who might appreciate it.

I used a G29.

It is tuned with ABS and TCS aids the others are off, and yes i know i am not using RH with TCS off.....been there done it, just fancied a blast around the Nurb so i did and loved it.

You use chase cam with a G29?
I'm convinced it's the slowest way to view the game, and thus produce the quickest results. It also has the benefits of not feeling the bumps or sense of speed, which stops the brain from applying real life physics which will also slow you down.

...So you just trashed Stefan Bellof record?

Who is Bellof ?

You use chase cam with a G29?

For me Chase came is quicker, not only do you feel the track but i can see the movement of the car and seems to work well with the bag of bolts wheel.

Driving this way is a preference, for me this is the fastest to drive everyone has their own way of racing .....this is mine, I have tried the other ways and simply put the results have been poor so i stick with what suits me, since GT1 i have raced this way and love it.

Yeh I raced in chase cam with controller, but when I got a wheel I wanted immersion. Each to their own.

I've read you mention bag of bolts a few times, when I first switched from G25 to G29 the G29 was noisy (like a bag of bolts) and I knew It couldn't be right, I took it back and got a replacement one, the new one was nice and quiet and remained reasonably quiet unless I'm on the rally tracks in GTSport - then it is a bit noisy, but goes back to quite quiet on tarmac.
I'm wondering if you got a bad G29.
