This is a little hard, I struggled with it for days. Practice is what you really need. I used my Minolta Toyota and tuned it like this: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=122450

My try:
I did A-Spec with these settings and like famine says, if you have to pit in a race, pit exactly halfway through the races. I pitted in every race besides Tokyo, Twin ring motegi, Seoul Central Reverse and Circuit de la Sarthe. I did Circuit de la Sarthe and Grand Valley b-spec and the rest A-spec. For most of these races, I used R3, R2 combination. I only won 7/10 races, got 2nd in Suzuka circuit, 3rd in Opera Paris and 6th in Hong Kong (because I left that race). I qualified and won 8/10 races, got 4th in Opera Paris and 5th in Hong Kong (I was first until lap 16, when my R3, R2 combo turned bright red). Be aware that the Minolta "eats the tires" and has a natural disadvantage in Hong Kong.

I hope this helped you.

Do you know how many threads are on this single event?
Another one did not need to be created. You could have added your thoughts on existing threads 💡

Ok. A search for "World Championship" or "GTWC" will bring up all the info you need to know on this one.
Put simply it's not because you don't have enough car or HP, but because you don't have enough driver.
This is the hardest championship in GT4, and the one place where the AI drive quite reasonably in high powered race cars, meaning that you can't simply tune your way to race victories by strapping on a Stage 4 turbo and overpowering them. (In fact a Stage 4 on most Group Cs makes them very difficult to handle.)

It's your driver skills that need help here, and the only cure for that is practice. Note the 10 tracks used for this series. Go and run them in practice mode until you can complete 5 - 10 laps cleanly without leaving the track.
If you can't manage this, no amount of car, be it PDFGT, Toyota 88C-V, Sauber C9 or Nissan R92CP is going to help you.
It's easily possible to beat this series in lesser cars such as Bentley Speed 8, Mercedes CLK-GTR or Nissan R390 if you have the right driver skills.

Here's some threads to help you out and you can continue discussion in those:

Some useful links in here too.

Give him a break dude. He's a new member. Probably didn't realize and just wanted to help fellow members.

;)
I am helping him by letting him know there are many threads about the subject ;)

He was helpful and perhaps a bit naive as I was when i first joined. The subject however has been discussed various times so I'll put this one to bed.

Welcome hanovia2.
