Gran Turismo 5 DLC/Update Issue

I've recently downloaded the new DLC for GT5 and downloaded the update. However, it won't let me access any of the old DLC. For example, when I want to select one of the cars from the Racing Car Pack, it says 'the Racing Car Pack downloadable content is not installed. Please install it'. If you go to the downloadable content list from the main menu it says it's installed and there isn't an option to reinstall it. Also, none of it appears on the download list for my account and if I try and buy it again from the PS Store it says 'This content cannot be accessed on your account'. I'm using the same account I used to purchase. It's the same story for the other DLCs (Spa doesn't appear at all in the track list).

Has anyone had the same issue and does anyone know how to resolve it? Cheers.

I had a refund done from PS store over the price on first DLC being cheaper for plus members a day or so after the release. They refunded. However not knowing I needed to purchase it again cause they refunded the entire amount. I had to purchase again and DL to buy repeat cars.

So maybe try going to the Store and downloading the DLC in your downloads. Upper right corner in store.

Other people with your problem have solved it by downloading from the Playstation store the two free family packs for the car and track packs. I hope this works for you .

i have already buy speed test DLC and download it. But it doesn't appear on download content button on the right side of main menu in GT5. there is no list of purchased content that appear. if i go to the store, it says already purchased, and i try to download again but still have same condition. has anyone had same issue and does anyone know how to solve it? i have been waiting speed test for 1year. i'm sad. i hope someone can give me the answer to solve it. thank you

I have the same problem, I downloaded both of the first two car packs within a few hours of each other and they both worked fine. A few days later and I get the same - please re-install the pack message. I will be buying the 3rd DLC pack at the weekend and hope by some miracle this will cure the problems.

Update: Installing the 'Family Pack' versions of both the racing car pack and the track pack have restored my previous DLC. Thanks for the advice.

Other people with your problem have solved it by downloading from the Playstation store the two free family packs for the car and track packs. I hope this works for you .

I don't know if this actually matters or not but when downloading the Family Pack Unlock make sure you do it from the master account on the PS3, not a secondary account. I hope it helps.👍

Any reason why after one run on the test track I have a great run and save my tune but when o run it again I never get that time again... Making me angry.
