Can someone going to the event drive a car production car with pro physics on N3 tires or something of the sort with no assists.
Welcome aboard.Hey guys, new peep here. Just wanted to thank you for the great info you have provided us from Gamescom. It's a real pleasure getting spoonfeed with all this info, GT5 seems to be shaping up nicely
So, back from my final stint at the Gamescom.
I had to bail out quite soon because of the noise, sorry about that, but I'm already half-deaf on one ear.
So only one video of the GT40 MkIV, which is being uploaded right now.
Some other things I noticed:
- At least one PS3 was running @ 1080p.
- I suck at drifting. However the M5 was good fun (Hard sport tyres) on standard physics and I was once again surprised how much detail comes across at the supposedly arcade setting. It was quite easy flinging it into a slide, powerslides were possible, too. I guess I got lucky at last with a good DFGT, because for the first time FFB was really noticeable. Sorry again, I made the most of it, but it should work out very well for you drift crazy folks. No video though
- Head tracking was disabled in the demo it seems. That was what a Sony rep told me. The EyeToy was pointing way to high anyway. I tried the second pair of goggles provided, but I was not amazed by the 3D effects. Was difficult to judge because the saftey lead was rather short, but it's not going to be a feature I will miss anytime soon.
That's about it, looking forward to the sound Alba has captured.
First video is done, uploading!
Too bad that the head tracking was not working. Thanks for checking anyway. 👍So, back from my final stint at the Gamescom.

Seems it shows up 4:3 for me, but I got it straight from my 16:9 cam?!

Good to see a white flag (Slow vehicle on track) at 2:09
Alba not revealing the cars in vids 1 & 2 to keep us in suspense!
I love it! LOL 👍
