Gran Turismo 5 @ Sony's E3 Conference

Just joined now so I can finally post. Been lurking this site since before GT2s release. What a great site, glad we have somewhere we could all come together and share opinions on the current games and the upcoming.

Well, after buying a PS3 in November just for GT5rologue (which is extremely boring now...) I've been extremely hyped for the full game. It's been a LONG time since a full GT game, Gran Turismo 4 was a great game still is. But since its release what do we have? Barely anything. I am honestly extremely disappointed at the E3 Conference, I've been reading amar's posts (not to blame him) and every one else's posts/threads and ideas, I really honestly thought we'd finally get SOMETHING for sure from PD today. Watching that whole conference was painful. And all they showed was a 3 minute trailer? No wonder KY looked so uncomfortable coming on stage. Pretty lame honestly..the trailer sucked. Yes first response is excitement, but when you look at it what is so big about it? Damage for races cars (pretty sure we all knew that would happen). And what is with the SLR sound? Turbo? And the weird NASCAR sound? And the beginning with all the Japanese race cars, that was obviously NOT their real sounds. That Castrol Supra has a V8? Turn 10 is way ahead of us right now...

Sigh...BIG DISSAPPOINTMENT IMO...

First of all, I think every single soul is gonna disagree with you about this being a big dissapointment. And secondly, this is already discussed in numerous threads.

My only dissappointement is that KY talked a lot about GT on the PSP. Its features, a solid release date and a trailer. GT5 only got the trailer. I mean what the hell?

I agree. It really is a disappointment because we don't have anything still. Why do you think KY was so nervous and shaky up there? He couldn't wait to get off.

NO actually I made a thread but it said it didn't go through so I just posted. Then I saw that this thread came up so cool.

Anyhow, I just think we all need some INFO and DEMONSTRATION of the game. Don't you think?

Well we could always want more and more....I was quite happy with what the trailer offered....since we didn't even 100% know that we were going to get anything, so I'm grateful.

But there's still 2 days of E3 left so who knows if we'll get any info or not...

like i said before, im happier than ever...just lets see something, if the subaru can get damaged it means, they have a damage engine so whats the big deal now? and i assure you that in next weeks/months a lot of interviews and ``leaks´´ will come out so, just be happy, they did a good step by showing this vid!

No offence intended but after lurking GTP for all these years, you must know by now that whom complain like you are not going to get a lot of sympathy!

You just joined and made you're first post and thread and the only thing you can do is complain. Not a good way to start you GTP career
