With GT6 having been announced, GTP's hype train is on full steam ahead. There are people with many suggestions and opinions on what they want to see implemented in the game, and in all honesty not all of them are very realistic. There are good idea's, but weather they would be implemented is another.
I'll start with people's seemingly biggest gripe - standard cars. Implemented in GT5 as PS2 and PSP ports, some of these where shockingly low quality. Some of these did get touched up over GT5's lifecycle via updates. However, in Kaz's Q&A with Jordan, he confirmed standards would return, and be usable in photo mode as well. Now I hear people complain about standards still existing - why biggest answer is "why?"
It still has same physics, drives same, and sounds same as a premium. PD has data for all there cars, but bearing in mind how long ago some of these cars where modelled, is it really realistic to expect over 1000 premium-level cars? Or if PD have time to it - bear in mind how long took for a couple hundered premiums in GT5.
The confirmation of a possible "livery editor" has people excited, but keep your feet on the ground... I don't see PD offering mad vinyls and customisation on every car. Again, is it realistic to expect this on EVERY vehicle, every part.
Also people wanting day to night transitions and time change on every track. I don't see this happening. On each track, shadows and light would have to be modified depending on not just daytime but the suns position and where light is coming from. To expect it on a few tracks? Yes. Every one? Totally unrealistic.
Furthermore, I think it;s unreasonable to expect GT6 to be perfect from Day 1. GT5 was improved via patch after patch, I would expect the same from GT6.
Do you guys have any realistic thoughts about GT6 or think "we can dream but... this is what will probably happen?"
