Tomorrow morning I'll go to test Demo of GT6 @Gamesweek.
In this event I'll go as JOURNALIST with a special pass.
So I'll prepare a special recording station to record audio directly from headset output.

I Hope to do a great report

Can't wait :) Do you think Mount Panorama will be in the demo? We don't have much footage of that track yet,

Any chance you could "play" with the A.I. a little bit? Everyone else just blows right past them and tears off on a lonely time trial. :indiff:

Hang out with them for a few laps. Move forward and back amongst them so we can see their responses. I am super interested to see if the GT5 brake-gas-brake during mid corner is still in effect...

Either way, thanks in advance for your efforts! :)

I have a feeling we'll have the "dumb" A.I. in demo kiosks, and any improvements will show up in GT6, either at launch or as one of those enhancement packages.

In any case, I'm happy to get one more peek at a game that's going to eat a lot of my free time up this winter. ;)👍

If you get the time it would interesting to see if any garage/upgrade options exist yet. Maybe see if anything has changed in the car purchase screen or in fact any option screen? Also maybe there are some photography options there yet?

Anthing is appreciated though. Would love to see the interior views (in particular the Alpine)

As a request, could you please not try to win? If you get more than 1 lap, it would be fine by me if you could be smooth and midpack to see how cars behave. Makes for a good replay as well. Peace.

I see it as a somewhat moot point to be honest.

If we're assuming that the AI was only placeholder judging by the sheer lack of pace in every demo so far, why would the spatial awareness of the AI be improved?

If it isn't placeholder and the spatial awareness is improved while the AI speed is not, would that be a deciding factor in your purchase of GT6, as opposed to no improvement whatsoever?

@ShiftingGears, you bring up a good point- but while the pace may still be slow for these demos, the cornering technique is the biggest question for future GT's.

The A.I. spacial awareness is fairly decent in GT5 in most situations, though it needs work, for sure. The absolute worst part about them though, is cornering technique- and this is of high interest..

ok guys, first day complete:

1) absolute ban from sony to make videos on screens. I was alone and sunday I'll try to make some videos with a Reflex with zoom helped by my friend.

2) I played with the AI and the collisions are better than ever. I get the left rear of AI's car and it lose the ASPHALT by the post rear tyre...wow and there's no present the bowling effect...seems the car have the grip where there wasn't the collision.

3) I played two sessions of 40 minutes every session and for the first time tryed T500, and the feeling @ beginning wasn't great, into the second session was all perfect so I started to feel the new improvements

Pause for now I'm working

Please post in English!

Yes, j0nny0093. Be sure to always reply in English when using the GT Planet forums as you agreed to do in the AUP. Thanks.

Sony says : its not a complete game so if There’s a bug and you Make a video there is a problem of quality.
So official footage are available for This reason.
I speacked with my referent of gtacademy

Wait, so you weren't able to record any footage?

4) The car have a real reactions, I have a TP (Z4 3.0i) and I tryed BMW Z4 GT3 and It's so incredible closed. When you are in full gas the front tyres lose a lot of grip, so I had the same corner (down right corner ) @ Autumn mini after the start grip, in two ways:

a) in braking into the corner the car had more grip so i can close the corner faster than b
b) braking before the corner and acceleration into the corner the front tyres lose a lot of grip.

5) As always the bad thing in GT5 is the connection between the phisics and the wheel, it's too soft and lower to feel what's happen

Is this something that can be overcome with force feedback settings?

Any more details about collisions?

This is really great news. One of the biggest problems with GT5 physics is the weight transfer affecting grip. Lift-off oversteer did not exist, and based on what alex is saying, power-on during mid-turn creates understeer, so in theory- lifting off will transfer weight to the front and cause some oversteer.

Some people won't like this but in the case of some mid-engine cars like the sw20 MR2, I hope we can experience SNAP oversteer upon mid-corner lift off.

6) Tyres: I was always in difficulty when I choosed a lower compound by default

Usually with GT500 we use sport soft and have fun.

When I droven Audi and Z4 GT3 versions, and i choosed sport soft the grip was very very low. Infact for the first time I droven this cars with this HP with Race Hard

7) No ABS: more different in GT5 by default, into the demo with T500 there no way to modify braking setup so I've tryed only to do full braking into the corners:
In GT5 making this you turned immediatly in oversteering, in GT6 there are a different levels depending how much are you steering.
a) low steer = oversteering
b) normal steer = neutral
c) hard steer = understeergin

Could you record any gameplay?

Did the demo have the same soundtrack as GT5? It will really bug me if I am hearing the same songs as I heard 4 years ago.

No, when I started the race the sound is the same of the GTA @Silverstone! (that's great for me), soundtrack on race I don't know becouse immediatily I set 0 the music.

Wasn't there a guy claiming to be playing GT5 before it was out and said he would post pictures and movies but no pictures or movies were seen. DE JA VU!
