I liked it, the first part is really classy and being a brazillian, the first 40 seconds makes me proud of it. Really well done by PD.
But, I think it stays a bit below in Gran Turismo typical intros... GT4 japanese version and GT5 Spec2 are still the top ones imho.

I love the end with Senna in his car, but i guess nothing will get close to the amazing gt4 intro.
The Moon Over the Castle playing while we see the Ford GT show the focus of the game on passion for cars, then the Ford comes out to the track and the driver prepares himself for the race which is about to start. The Moon Over the Castle gives place to Van Halen and the race starts!

Wow that was amazing. Did anyone catch what the blue car was being projected up onto the screen. Didn't look like the C7 Corvette that was on screen afterwards.
I think it is the car that was under the blue covers in promo shots earlier this year. Any ideas anyone?

I never thought I'd see the day when there are Brazilian schoolchildren in a Gran Turismo intro. 
I am slightly disappointed over the fact that the new intro doesn't focus on the 15th anniversary of GT at all though. Perhaps they could have killed two birds with one stone and remade the first part of the Japanese GT2 intro with Senna footage?

Marginally better than the original intro because of the Senna footage. It's going to be weird for people who don't know about the Institute though. And I noticed they've replaced the FXX sound with something more realistic (instead of copy pasting the F1 sound from GT5).

The game was just released in Japan. If there was a "MOtC" intro, we would've seen it by now.Marginally better than the original intro because of the Senna footage. It's going to be weird for people who don't know about the Institute though. Other than Apricot Hill Raceway doesn't seem to be any anything that reflects back to GT1, GT2 by PD such as cars or tracks that started the series.

Unless someone with a Japanese copy confirms it, I'm not giving up hope yet. It takes a while for the JP intro to be uploaded usually. For some reason Japanese people don't use youtube as much as we do. But yeah, it'll be really sad if it's the first GT without MOtC.

Well, turns out MOtC is in the game after all. But its only the GT5 and GT5 Prologue versions that you unlock after reaching the ending movie. There is no new version of it.
The ending song is Daiki Kasho - We Are One, btw.
And btw, it was a Japanese user that first uploaded the new opening movie. From the description, I could tell he was disappointed with having no MOtC as the intro.
