Hope you like it. I whipped it up quite quickly.

It's not bad at all. I'm dreaming that even half those tracks make it BACK into GT.

Seems like a decent idea for a thread 👍 Maybe we can get some of the heavyweight gtplanet editors in here with other ideas!

Exactly why I included all those tracks 👍

Maybe if I get a bit more feedback I'll change the thread.

Background is too out of focus...hard on the eyes.

I meant it to have some depth, with the out of focus background and overlapping track logos. I'm thinking of making a new one. Any ideas?

It would be a dream to get some of those tracks back.
One criticism is that all the track names are kind of just thrown together. Maybe organize them a bit more and add some blur so it meshes with the background better?

I'd start with the background more in focus. Separate and don't overlap the track logos. Add in car make logos...etc.

I agree. I can't read all of the track logos. Maybe make them smaller if you have to do so that they're all completely visible.

If you are going to have a bunch of logos, it's usually best to spread them out. Maybe focus in on the background and make the logos transparent, kind of like water marks. Here's one I made ages ago. I do have a BA in Business Marketing, which has zero value in the real world btw

I also had the idea to put a transparent car image, (like the ones from a Hanes car book) with the GT logo and same tag line. Slightly different tone as the transparent car represents how you get to know a car inside and out when driving Gran Turismo. Fun stuff!

Sadly, true. I guess we can still imagine.

My editing software could only blur the base image (GT-R :/) I wanted to do a "layered" blur bud sadly I could find a means to do that.

I'll think about this. If it helps anyone I was going for a GT2 esque design (i.e. the flashing car logos and track names). I agree the track logos look a bit crowded. Background could be more in focus, or just keep it all 'flat' with not much blur. Still deciding.

I do want Midfield Raceway and Apricot Hill back so badly. Countless hours spent on them.
Not so much Apricot for me, Midfield is definite. Tons of hours beating lap times on Midfield.

Interesting! And yes, I'll think about these ideas.

Yes, it does looks like it was done quickly.

I seriously thought up the idea and whipped it up. At least 15 minutes spent.
