Max weather is C06 - Thick cloud.
Scrap that - had my settings wrong. Timed races are allowed:

Mild hybrids also aren't (necessarily) hybrids. The term isn't concrete, but Mazda's version doesn't drive the wheels with any motors; they use energy recovery and a high-voltage system to power various electronics and ancillaries to save engine power and fuel use.
Fair enough. Are there any mild hybrids like this currently in the game? I can't think of any off the top of my head.

The Sophy implementation looks good in theory then. Only rolling starts and no rain, but you can do the full 200 laps if you wish, and you can choose any car from your garage. Now it's just a question of rubberbanding; if that's gone for Sophy and it's actually allowed to race properly, this will be an enormous upgrade.

Regarding the Sophy races,so you can pick a car from your garage. Is this tuned or stock? If you wanted too could you pick, for example,a stock GTR for Sophy and then enter in a tuned up GTR for yourself? Pointless I know but just wondering how its going to work, ive not got chance to check until after work.

I would really like to be able to race against the perferct Sophy
I think this would be what most players did expect:
see the "perfect" race unfold before their own car - and then try following it as best as one can manage.
The devs said themselves they could see Sophy as some sort of coach to help players be faster, but the current version will just be a reverse learning effect. 😜 🙄 😱 🤣 🤔 😡

Si Michelin est parti, avons-nous des dimensions correctes sur les pneus maintenant ou est-ce toujours un faux?
It looks bad now

EDIT:
So I did a race on the nurb in S2000 and in hard and boost in off.

Sophy is rather slow, so I started 17th and finished 4th, knowing that overtaken cars were getting slower... like before, in fact.
So I had very few battles.

I'm going to test with more balanced cars. (gt3, one-model etc...)

I did a little experiment with Sophy in a custom race to see how capable it would be in proper multi-class endurance races when it comes to overtaking slower traffic. Five GR010s didn't have any problem with overtaking five R8 GT3s before the first lap at Nurburgring GP was over (it wasn't easy for the standard AI). Now to see if Sophy is able to use clever pit-stop strategies... and not to use rubberbanding :)

P.S. The option to sort cars to sell by quantity is another major new feature to me! 😍

Did anybody see any new Custom Race settings? The only difference I saw is that you are now able to choose between Sophy and the old AI on the tracks where Sophy is available. The Sophy settings are restricted to rolling start and dry weather, but otherwise it looked like the same settings as before.

Yes. Same settings and default Rolling Start. Only difference is a prompt at the top left that informs of certain cars which can be used for SOPHY.
