Is it in pause menu settings or custom race settings? I looked around in custom race settings and didn't find anything like it, will try again later, thank you!
It’s definitely a setting in custom races. I’d love to disable it completely as teleporting cars is a huge pet peeve of mine

Preview of the latest patch for those interested!

You had me excited there for a millisecond...

Is that supposed to say "truck" rather than "track?"

And this is the lap time I set in it on the Nurburgring

Very slow as you can see. Happily, you can fix that with upgrades. When you fully tune the truck, you get a stack racing exhaust and a turbo that creates a biblical sound!

A funny sight indeed.

Off topic somewhat. Updates are nice, but it makes me worry we might not see another GT on PS5. It's very expensive to buy new hardware for one edition of GT. Is there any info on a new edition?

I would rather these updates stop and arrive as new content in the next GT.

Nothing official as of yet! I think there was a comment Kaz made a while back that it was being worked on, but that’s about it.

The Unimog is definitely the most useless car in the game, I don't understand why they put that thing in the game when there are better cars than that... Even the Midget II would have been much better being a Gran Turismo classic car...

However, the 205 GTI and Z4 are very fun and are cars that I am happy to see in the game

If you've ever wondered what kind of abject ****ing moron would create a new account on GTPlanet every four weeks to make <10 posts, then spikes their account email address and password so they can't use it any more...

...that self-same individual just bitched at us on Twitter for never talking about GT7's lack of tracks in updates while quoting a video in which I literally shouted about us not having Pikes Peak yet followed by us directly referencing there being no new track again which we state in every update video.

I mean we say it every time we get an update without a track, every time we do a podcast; we sound like a broken record at this point but yeah there's no new tracks in this update.

Dropped on his head at birth, and pretty regularly thereafter.

They drop updates whenever they have enough content to justify one…

They’re not “holding stuff back” for GT8 like some people are obsessed with. They may be planning development assets around GT8 - but anything being “held back” will be for a hardware reason.

They won’t need to try and sell GT8
There were leaks.about Trial Mountain back in the GT Sport days but it only came out with GT7.Surely they have people working on multiple tracks all the time, same for cars.

i get the feeling the next GT - will be a crossgen first on PS5 and then later on PS6 , depends when PS6 launches

and it will be probably around 30th GT anniversary too

I agree the 205 and Z4 are fun and good additions.

I also agree that the Unimog is „useless“ (for racing).

However as a car enthusiast i do understand why they added it: Because it is unique and it is a significant piece of automobile history. It comes from the company that invented the truck. It is a museum piece that looks great on photos. By the way, Arnie is also a Unimog fan...maybe the will add a Hummer next? ;). So yes, i appreciate the work they put into it.

Nevertheless it would have been better to include a mission, event or track OR similar vehicles to make it „useful“. Unfortunately, without these I wont drive it a lot. This is still a game and not a virtual museum, right?

Perhaps it wasn't your intention, but based on your engagement it was. See below.

According to this, all day one consumers who love the franchise think the game is getting stale and would prefer to pay for DLC instead of getting free updates of "mom" cars. If you have a different opinion it's because you must be new to the game.

That's what he's wrong about. The statement is simply not correct.

And then you decided to chime in for some reason:

And you even clarified which part you thought he was right about, presumably because you thought that your agreement would make his statement correct:

But he wasn't talking about you. He wasn't talking about himself. He was talking about players in general and made a sweeping accusation that anyone disagreeing with him about the "mom car" nonsense would have to he new to the game, or isn't a day one consumer, or doesn't love the franchise.

Are you getting it yet?
Have a good day sir.

The car with currently lowest stock PP, taking over 500F's position.

It will be crossgen with PS6, don't worry about it

Not only Trial Mountain, in the GT Sport data there were Watkins Glen, Road Atlanta, Daytona and others.

It's natural that they are building GT8 (or GT Sport 2) based on improvements from GT7, especially since all assets are being produced in 4K, as Kaz said more than seven years ago, when he launched GT Sport.
