Just had a quick tinker with the new update. The GTi is a blast from the past,I wasnt too interested in it when it was announced but having used it quickly its pretty good fun.Not so interested in the Z4,but thats a personal thing,im not a BMW lover but feels good to drive. The Subaru Type R STi ver`99 is a beast with the engine swap, the 2 Fords are also good with the rally car engine swaps.I wasnt sure what they would be like but on Tokyo and Sardenga they are really good, both have a decent top speed but the Escort with its awd just pips the RS500 around these tracks.
Not tried the Unimog but from what I see on here it looks like a barrel of laughs.
From what ive seen so far this looks like a pretty good update. 👍

GT PLANET AND GT COMMUNITY REMAINS UNDEFEATED!!!!

It should be 11 pages at least. Because . . . well, Unimog.
Have you tried it yet? OMG, SOOOO MUCH FUN!

BTW, both the 205 and Z4 can get a roll cars...so RACE CARS 🤣 🤣

You are missing out. I have done widebody on everything that allows it :D. And yes, widebody alters the available parts from GT Auto.
It's a shame that the widebody makes the Z4 look like a stanced out Miata. This has to be the cheapest update of all so far.

this is precisely why i do not go widebody on my cars, i have on a very few but mainly for the correct livery (like race replicas) and handling...

Did anyone maybe already find a good suspension tune for the swapped Swift? I just tried a rather basic tune (lowering to 60mm, ARBs to 6, dampers -3/-5 spring rate +20) and it doesn't feel very good. Rather understeery and serious problems with putting the power down, especially in 2nd/3rd.

Fun fact: Got a racing transmission, set it to 290 km/h and the Swift was doing 286...
in 3rd gear....😄

That was me :) but there’s always the real possibility that it’s all placebo. Just want to confirm.

The HUD issue was super random. On some cars all was fine, others had the HUD fully distorted / triple images on top of each others yet others had it split that the top part had the distortion issue and the bottom of the HUD didn't - and you could move the split by moving your head up and down....
Fingers crossed this is fixed for all cars. Really annoying and odd, like the rocket physics, to not be caught in testing...

Using the Peugeot in the Weekly, with VRPRS OFF there’s no tearing with the HUD.

With VRPRS ON, there is still tearing with the timer when there is something it its background. There is still tearing on the tyres of cars and just under the windscreen wipers. The HUD inside the car was fine.

I actually meant as far as purchasing the update cars. I like the update so far, the Unimog is great.

I probably will do one with it installed, just wish it was a bit more subtle.
LOL, So sorry. All the doom posting has me on edge. 🤣

IMHO, It looks like a candidate for the drifters. I used it in the new events and I liked it.

Ok, now back to the
UNIMOG!!

Really fun update. The new TT is a great, kinda chilled out compared to other TTs. The Peugeot is a lovely drive and the Unimog is a fun car to joy ride in different environments.

I think we've had a few less-completed models before. Adding the full racing suspension to the Unimog creates a sort-of free floating suspension - they're not connected to any part of the truck at the bottom.

I just want Seattle back. I want to go yeehaw with my muscle cars again.
Not possible anymore, those streets and the underpass are gone if i remember right
You might have found the limit of what car can be added in GT7.Anything below 2.5M is fair game 😂
If you've ever wondered what kind of abject ****ing moron would create a new account on GTPlanet every four weeks to make <10 posts, then spikes their account email address and password so they can't use it any more...

...that self-same individual just bitched at us on Twitter for never talking about GT7's lack of tracks in updates while quoting a video in which I literally shouted about us not having Pikes Peak yet followed by us directly referencing there being no new track again which we state in every update video.

Dropped on his head at birth, and pretty regularly thereafter.
Don't say bad words or i'll tell Famin... oh

Yeah, everyone tries to say it's not possible, but it is because of the digital realm. If PD were smart, they'd archived the resources they'd used to make the original track. If they had, then all that is stopping them is their own motivation as they could recreate the textures and buildings from the photographs they'd taken. I'm not saying using low-res textures and PS2 assets and such but rather remake them in GT7 standards. And if they'd lost their resources, then I'm sure some can be found online as reference.

Yeah. The Unimog will bring us endless fun even if there's NO ACTUAL PURPOSE OR USE for it in the game... smh...
