I have to agree with @CTRL Garage that you do not know what you are talking about...
That's because you didn't actually read or understand my posts either. Not continuing this discussion.

The chili race (Clubman Cup +) in Tsukuba was really, really good to test and play around with the required PP builds. But overall the points you've made in your post, really shows just how many ideas PD tried and implemented in the game. While they sound good in theory, they never really polished the potential those features could have. The chilli races: The first time these were added since launch, and seemingly the last. Despite the races actually being good, several of the opponent cars (the Mondial and Sierra in particular) are now very broken, bottoming out through a bunch of corners. Who knows if they'll ever be fixed?![]()
I personally find the snow way way more enjoyable than the dirt tracks. I have zero knowledge of how realistic either of them are, though I'm guessing "not very", but my barometer is that when Lake Louise comes up in the weeklies I go "okay, cool" but when a dirt track comes up I generally go and find something better to do with my time that week.Lake Louise: Snow physics suck in this game, full stop. It's hard to convince people to drive on a track that is fundamentally unenjoyable to drive on.
They are narrow compared to a modern racetrack, and especially compared to St croix which is the comparison I was making.
We've got the second car tweet, so they're seemingly rolling in pretty quickly.
Earlier July update wouldn't surprise me? Gives them more time over summer for breaks or a bigger August/September update - it's just the lack of precedent to actually evidence that being a possibility.
For me, I feel like July's been a very slow month. The furthest any Car #2 Tweet has been from an update is 38 days, as part of a cluster of 30-day+ examples from 1.48-1.52.
However, since 1.55, the furthest it's been is 12 days, with 8-12 being the normal range and 3 the smallest (but that was an odd one).
Potentially then we could have one on July 17th... weird.
It’s ok - someone will find something else, I’m sure of it 😁The alternative answer is that the social media manager in charge of PD's socials has finally caught on to all of us obsessing about these posts and is now deliberately releasing them at weird times to mess with us.

Polyphony Digital struggles with these kinds of tracks, and I'd never expect to see them in a Gran Turismo game... or would I?Couldn't agree more, especially when the game lacks things for the slower cars. Sainte-Croix could have been a totally different track (or could have proposed a much more interesting alternative layouts) if they'd stuck closer to the reality of the roads around the lake.

It's not that great really. Pretty much the only thing Sierra had going for it was the length, and most of it comes from having excessively long full throttle section between corners so it's basically long for the sake of being long. To add to that, the amount of actually memorable places on it borders on zero. It's little more than a hugely long AI course creator track where you pass the same looking spot several times per lap although they're not the same spot, just recycling the same scenery assets. Perhaps good for cruising, quite terrible for racing.Never driven that track (skipped some GT titles), looks very nice, would be great on GT7 ☺️
This was my experience. I'd LOVE a good long winding circuit (or point to point), but Sierra wasn't it. Very uninspired, overall. It's not that great really. You can indeed have a snorkel for the Unimog. Unsure if you need the wide body, though.Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I can tell, I think the Unimog can get a snorkel installed in GT Auto! It also can get a longer bed option.
Both are correct assumptions.Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I can tell, I think the Unimog can get a snorkel installed in GT Auto! It also can get a longer bed option.
The way I'd put it is - Sierra was really good at the one thing they used it for, but it didn't need to be anywhere else. It's not that great really. ok, interesting, but I like the concept and the scenery, I am sure they could do something similar without the issues you mention. It's not that great really.
