True, but it’s too early. In GT Sport it started around the 20th, and so it felt more special. Then again, local supermarkets started yesterday…Should be the 10th presuming it follows 2022 and 2023.

"We are pleased to release the IONIQ 5 N to Gran Turismo 7. The Hyundai N brand has made a lot of achievements in actual motorsport this year, including at Pikes Peak, the Nurburgring 24-hour race TCR class victory, the TCR World Tour champion, and the WRC drivers title, and we look forward to future collaborations between Gran Turismo and Hyundai in the Esport sector."
Let's not be hasty with that. Remember that despite being longtime partners with Super GT, we STILL don't have the latest GT500 machinery. So we're getting those cars too then right? Right?

GT5 and GT6 were the only real instance of officially licensing the actual Super GT Name (and unsurprisingly, the most fleshed out in terms of cars even if it didn't have the flashy cinematics like WRC or NASCAR did) but as far as I can tell, Gran Turismo has featured as one of their partners for over a decade now.On that topic.
I know Super GT cars have had a prominent place in the Gran Turismo franchise, and it's likely that the 2024 GT500's show up at some point in the future, but have they ever had an official licensing partnership like NASCAR & WRC had back in GT5, or Super Formula currently has?
Genuinely don't know.
Sadly it won't stay like thisIt’s cool to wake up and start my PS5P with the original Sony PlayStation startup music and logo. Cool indeed.
Super GT is in the same odd place Pikes Peak is in, where we know PD had the license a decade ago, and circumstantial evidence (sponsorships, other sims not using the content) would suggest they still have it, but we don't know the state of either for 100% sure.On that topic.

Right...?
PD's relationship with Super GT is perhaps more curious than Pikes Peak. An agreement between the Gran Turismo and Super GT brands would only bring commercial advantages to both. The GT community, I would say, is almost unanimous in favor of the GT500 and GT300 cars.Super GT is in the same odd place Pikes Peak is in, where we know PD had the license a decade ago, and circumstantial evidence (sponsorships, other sims not using the content) would suggest they still have it, but we don't know the state of either for 100% sure.
For completeness, they are not currently mentioned at all in the IP/licensing credits in-game (Super Formula are, licensed from Japan Race Promotion).
“Prize to be delivered after next update” (prize now known to be the Hyundai)The Hyundai coming in january doesn't necessarily means that there is no update in december. Fingers crossed.
I admire your hopeThe Hyundai coming in january doesn't necessarily means that there is no update in december. Fingers crossed.
I don't think there will beI figured the next update would be the My First GT update. After that update comes the next update that includes the Hyundai. No biggies. Just gotta wait as usual.
Yet...other sims not using the content
Could be like any demo in the PS Store. Maybe no special section in the World Map for us current GT players.I don't think there will be
no need to update to introduce my first gt !!
we will see !!
Little bit of GT in here
I missed this when scrolling through. There are no details at all, circuit or car, for the Nations Cup Qualifying Time Trial.Something of potential note is that no new circuits are being used in the upcoming live event, as there's no TBD slots. This can mean 2 things.
1: There simply isn't a new track in the next [presumably December] update. This is the most likely outcome.
Or
2: There is a new track, but it's one that isn't suitable for normal competitive racing, such as a Pikes Peak point-to-point. This is far less likely, but possible.
With "persistence"Ending it on Bloodborne is hilarious
