There's some awesome mothers in your area if they're driving an EF Civic Si or a £65k, 640hp performance EV.

If any of them are single, I'd advise you hook up with one.
Another one who wasn’t around in the 80s. This was not a car anyone wanted. If you were poor or a kid you made due with it.

The update sucks and until there is a purpose built track like Silverstone GT7 is going to continue to lose ground with the competition.

Smart fella. What gave it away, the age on my profile in plaintext?
Your knowledge of the 80s.

I very much was and - if your profile DOB is accurate - for much more of it and with more distinctive memories of it than you.

But it isn't the 1980s now (and even if it were, the UK isn't the USA). I have many doubts that, in 2025, any "mom" is driving an EF Civic Si Extra. Or at least not many that aren't awesome.

And, lest we forget, the 641hp, £65k EV you just ignored your way right past. Maybe they like the baby blue colour?

I can read that all set times are updated on Licenses and Missions. Why do they do it this way? Are the changes in physics so much that they need to reset all the times?

Really don’t wanna redo 400 tunes a 3rd time
No avoiding that as long as you want to use those cars again.

Simply said: yes.
Cars go faster -> old time invalidated.

This was not a car anyone wanted.
Times change.
And regional differences in preferences apply.

Broadly, yes.

It's essentially because the cars no longer drive the way they did before, so the demonstrations which guide you are not relevant and the target times may be harder or easier than before.

The changes are big enough, yes. On the one license test I tried (master IA8) the gold time was made 0.6s faster, yet I couldn't do it before the update, and was able to do it now.

That is the effect of repeatedly doing the same thing: practice ;)
Practice that after hours and hours didn't result in much improvement, and then suddenly after a physics update made me 0.9s faster? I don't think so 😉

I'm not sure the new gold time would even have been possible at all on the old physics 😅

Depends when you last practiced and got gold.

Trained on Daytona S3 to improve my bus-stop for past week TT. The times where already different than at the time I golded it monthes ago. And I golded it first try, despite times being lower (but I progressed a lot since then) and it was before this morning's new physics model.

Anyone have any BoP updates? GTEngine all I am seeing thus far is from the previous update in November.

Have no idea what the profile says. It was an undesirable car as most hatchbacks are. We can rewrite history because the game put a 641hp engine in it but it was as popular as the 1976 Pacer and that is to say it wasn’t except for poor or kids who had to make due with a crappy car.

Edit: I see it says 1985. It’s not correct. I’m almost 60 and the 80s were my time. That car was the butt of jokes.

You filled it in.

Maybe where you are, but not here nor - as this is a JDM-exclusive vehicle - in its home market. And it is not now, which is very much the point you've missed.

No, it hasn't. The 641hp car is the Hyundai Ioniq 5N that you also dismissed as a "mom mobile".

See many moms around driving the Ioniq 5N or an imported Civic Si Extra where you are?
