@Talon16 (and anyone else who mentioned the open wheel force feedback issue), you might be in luck:
Freaking finally.
Wonder if they finally also addressed the ludicrous wheel oscillation issue in high-speed Gr1 etc cars.
Still no Fanatec Full Force, what a shocker 🤣
But I’m definitely happy if the formula cars’ steering is truly fixed.

For those curious...

Nope, still no Suzuka Banner. Weird how quick they were to update Fuji but Suzuka not so much..

(appeal to popularity)

I would. I'm one of the normal car sickos who'd ask for more everyday rides just for the sake of variety in a game.
Normal rides to me would mean an up to date car that could be driven on a race track.
There are no normal Audis in the current lineup. There’s no current 3-series. No up to date VW lineup. No up to date Peugeot or Renault lineup. The Fords are out of date.
GT made its reputation on this kind of car selection and now it’s binned it off.
Forza has been hated on since release but you can’t argue that it does not completely trounce GT’s current selection of 10 and 15 year old cars.

Thx at Polyphony for turning the fanatec podium ffb into a clown show.
they added the famous and absolut ridiculous & unreal rattle effect if you oversteer the front tyres.
it feels so annoying, i quited the game after 5min of nasty violent rattling effects.

.... assetto evo is a diffrent universe compared to this mess.
Not sure why you think that feeling is unrealistic. I’ve felt something rather similar plenty of times on tracks in real life when sliding the front tires with big understeer. I personally appreciate that FFB effect in this game.

Yay!

You'd think that in three years anyone with more than two functioning brain cells would have figured out that they don't like the game, shelved it, and moved on but no. I've yet to understand the incentive to keep playing a game that's so bad that they hate every moment of it while telling everyone about it - and probably never will.
What AAA racing game is the alternative on PS that’s given PD’s budget?

The Hyundai that car enthusiast sites have been cranking themselves translucent over?

That Hyundai?
Not mentioning the Toyota no?

Do the PS4 and PS5 versions always have the same times maintenance ends? I'll watch livestreaming for when the servers come back on but I don't see anyone streaming on PS4.

I bet they could get the Toyota - maybe even a licensed version
I had a response half-written to this yesterday, then the trailer came out, so sorry this is a bit late.

But, close relationship or not, this depends on whether or not Toyota wish to remember their prior F1 exploits or not. The most extreme examples, but Mercedes will never license out the CLR and Mitsubishi will never license out the Evo VII rally car because they'd rather just forget those cars ever existed. Given the less-than-stellar results, it wouldn't shock me if Toyota consider their 2000s F1 tenure in a similar vein.

Still not able to connect.... What I am doing wrong ?

Might be related to the July update when the same RX-7 started doing 27:05/27:10 at Tokyo, which is a super fast time compared to previously ~27:20 minutes.
The AI already was capable of 27:00 total times.
The question to me only would be if the curve now centers closer to 27:10 than before.

I found a rather cool front grille custom part for the Civic. If you look at "Type C" in the first view, it doesn't look any different but switch it to the second view and you'll notice it has gained an aerial with a topper!

61,600Cr. Wow. In that Hagerty guesstimation the CRXs were going for that amount and more. Amazing.

Edit: So the Si doesn't get the EF9 bumper option?

Don't wish to speak too soon but the Aston Vantage '15 which was a terrible car for spearing off track has just gone through with no issues. More testing needed but may be fixed. I know this isn't part of the thread do apologise.

As mentioned in the undocumented changes thread, I think the issues with the suspension/tyre models overloading at the Nurb may be fixed. I've taken the Aston Vantage around and it hasn't sent me into the barriers without asking. Will do some more testing. If this works, this'll be a great update for me.

Edit: and before anyone starts, no it's not driver error.

Edit 2: Jaguar E-Type is responding as well I think, slightly twitchy but it's a lot better.

Edit 3: Alpine A110 is now handling like a car. Ferrari 500 is still broken but is much better than it was.

You guys need to lay off the GT3 bandwagon - I think GT Sport created this attitude by including so many. If that's what you want start harassing Studio 397 to get LMU on PS5 as that's the game you want (or AC Evo).

You might see it as waisted potential because you're comparing it to your expectations. Looking at sales, GT7 has been pretty successful so far and the online times/races/lobbies aren't exactly quiet... so seems like most of the userbase is happy.
I think this is counter intuitive. Why would people move away from GT7 for GT3, when there is already well working daily races and community base for GT3 in GT7? Why would people want to go to a less popular game when they can just hope more cars to the well working game? And dont forget PSVR2 users. And the fact that users are happy doesnt mean they wouldnt like to have some more of the good stuff. Trying to make thing even better is not the same as complaining. There can be good things that still could be made even better.
