This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:
No one’s announcing this update because no one cares about it. “My first Gran Turismo” was a demo ffs.How is that supposed to be achieved when new players (= those who dont reciece news about updates on the console and currently very likely dont read anything about the game) dont see any update announcement anywhere besides the places that are fan-realted, they do not visit?
No, update is there to keep the game
1. secure
2. in balance
3. in performance
4. interesting
If you want to get new players joining the game, you need to make huge public noise about the game, and this doesnt need to be connected to a game update, but can be done differently, like "My first Gran Turismo".
There are 24 single events, the WTC 800 Championship and several missions that are designed for Gr3/GT3 cars. The main Esports promotional event uses Gr3/GT3 cars. There is a Gr3/GT3 multiplayer race running almost every week. To say the game and franchise is now not (at least partially) designed to include them is wrong and out-of-date, things have rightfully evolved over the decades. The creators have talked about representing car culture - that includes race cars, rally, drift, drag, etc as well as road cars. It's understandable that people would like to occasionally see a modern (real) racer alongside all the classic machinery.Yes - that is my point. If you want more GT3, Le Mans prototypes, play a game that is desgined for them. If you want Formula 1 cars, play a formula one car. That's not being woke... that is my interpretation of GT7 and the franchise.
Please stop shooting your own foot.“My first Gran Turismo” was a demo ffs.
+No one’s announcing this update because no one cares about it
= neither a nor b, because no one cares (except for those who already are playing).Forza have been pushing their BMW and Cadillac WEC cars.
GT is pushing a Hyundai EV and a Toyota SUV.
What’s the public going to be more excited by?
I'd forgotten the Hyundai would be free. Handy.
You should just be able to sell it, right?
Haven’t clicked the ticket. I remembered that will be just another car I can’t delete.
I just checked on my alt account. It’s sellable for 29,510 cr. Whew. You should just be able to sell it, right?
What do you mean? I've just checked through the standard livery options and none have any mention of Ferrari on them.Super Cool. There is an officiel Ferrari livery for the new 90's F1 car.
It has an official Ferrari label. Never seen this.
I do - you’re almost making my point for me with the “It’s like two games in one” part. You do realize GT7 competitive online side does already lean heavily to race cars - especially gr4 and gr3? It’s not a "GT Sport" -thing. Gran Turismo offline/online lobby is very different thing versus the competitive esports side. It’s like two games in one
I do play the game and am aware of the abundance of GT3 stuff that has entered the game since GT Sport. If it wasn’t for GT Sport and the FIA involvement that came with it, would we have as much GT3 stuff as we have now? There are 24 single events, the WTC 800 Championship and several missions that are designed for Gr3/GT3 cars. I just thought about the “Free” cars that we can’t delete. That’s why I posted the ticket as bait. Good thing we can buy and sell the Hyundai.
I didn't claim it'd make you rich 😂

Was wondering why I had a notification on my garage when I first got on.I'd forgotten the Hyundai would be free. Handy.
Yeah, this is annoying. I don't even want money for my Afeela, I just want it out of my garage. But nope.I just thought about the “Free” cars that we can’t delete. That’s why I posted the ticket as bait. Good thing we can buy and sell the Hyundai.
Ah ok. But what about that Ferarri logo (official)? That's just a livery that someone created. You can't call it an "official" one because it's not endorsed by Ferrari.
Ah ok. But what about that Ferarri logo (official)?
To add to what @Famine said, it's possible to add certain brand logos or change text fonts and colors by using certain special characters in the title. That's why the logo is there.
The Hidden Unicode Icons/Text/Colors in GT7
From the person who constructed the list for GT Sport, I wanted to make a new thread of hidden icons for GT7. So far, there seem to be more icons added in GT7, compared to GT Sport. Gran Turismo [#X] Similarly to GT Sport, you can use these icons anywhere in text entry by using a form of "[#X]"...www.gtplanet.net
I think that may be a mistranslation. Offical would mean from Ferrari. Actual would be how I describe it. It is actually the Ferrari logo... but its not officialAh ok. But what about that Ferarri logo (official)?

The arePlease let the physics be fixed on the Nurb, please. It certainly sounds like they've changed it.
