Day 1 customer here. It's getting stale. I would definitely pay for updates if PD actually made it worth it. Mom cars is subjective, but the CH-R isn't far off.
The issue is it won't be worth it b/c PD has made it known through time that they/Kaz likes to diversify the car roster well beyond other games, so things like the CH-R & the Unimog are always possibilities.

I can't imagine how much more grittier the replies would be if they charged money for the pack, so the saving grace here is that they're free b/c you'd likely get these cars regardless.

I’m happy enough building the stock engine to rev past 9000 rpm.

This is what makes these replies about willing to pay just to have updated roster of cars baffling. They really think PD of all devs is suddenly gonna drop the obscure vehicles just because they paid?

That's not what I was agreeing with him with, but carry on.
Perhaps it wasn't your intention, but based on your engagement it was. See below.
I think if you just got into the game then all the fuss is baseless. If you are a day one consumer and love the franchise its getting stale and frustrating to the point that a pay for DLC would be preferable to free updates of everyday “mom” cars.
According to this, all day one consumers who love the franchise think the game is getting stale and would prefer to pay for DLC instead of getting free updates of "mom" cars. If you have a different opinion it's because you must be new to the game.

That's what he's wrong about. The statement is simply not correct.
That's incorrect.
And then you decided to chime in for some reason:
He's not wrong.
And you even clarified which part you thought he was right about, presumably because you thought that your agreement would make his statement correct:

But he wasn't talking about you. He wasn't talking about himself. He was talking about players in general and made a sweeping accusation that anyone disagreeing with him about the "mom car" nonsense would have to he new to the game, or isn't a day one consumer, or doesn't love the franchise.

Are you getting it yet?
