Gran Turismo Drifting Video

I watched the second one, it's very nice, how are the cars set up? they seem to move strange. Or maybe it just look like they move strange since im used to watching cars with sim tires.

lol they are quite jerky drifts but nice

i also liked ur transitions, like the one in seattle where it just sorta flashes from Nismo to Rx-7

its mainly cuz I learnt to drift in an RX7 that only had minor changes (lower, LSD, highest traction tires, and no tc or asm). So I learnt to drift by either swaying the opposite way (I think its called fient drift), or hitting something like dirt or a curb to lose traction.

Need to work on my drifting.

the cars drift are good but are you using drift to race because i can say that you drift fast enough in some turns but i cant really say that because i never tried drifting in this track :) :)

actually I was racing against a ghose of myself doing grip driving, and I was moving faster in drift, this was with the RX7 a while back.

Using sim tires isn't really drifting. U just slide everywhere. it kinda cheating if u think about it.

I use super soft tires on the front and super slick on the back with my RX-7 RZ.

If u can drift with those tires then ur drifting not sliding.

Well it all depends what you think drifting is. What most people do here is exhibition drifting, with lots of counter-steer, using sim tires is in no way cheating no mater how you think of it. And if you drift with super softs with lots of counter-steer then you are still just "sliding" around also you are just doing it faster since you have more traction. Real race drifting with sim tires is much more difficult since more control is needed to have the car on that thin edge between grip and sliding. With softer tires that edge gets wider and it's easier to stay there.
