hi guys

i been hitting my head on a brick wall about this but to enter this seasonal event and get 1million credits where do i find the Subaru IMPREZA Sedan WRX STI (18inch BBS Wheel Option) '10???????????

i looked in UCD/OD for 1 month and nothing the dealership has one but it doesn't say its the 18inch BBS Wheel Option so i could be wasting my money.

can anyone help????? is this one of those rare cars i have to look out for in the UCD and OD?:ouch::grumpy::grumpy:

For the Expert Challenge, the Subaru in the Subaru Dealership is the right one, even if it doesn't mention the 18" BBS Wheels.

thanks walla.... i am in the dealership straight away lolzzz

silly GT5 is that a way to trick you to think you can never try that seasonal event with the most credits per race

If you think that's silly, wait until you actually get that car, out on that track, with those tires.

Can you say "understeer"?

lol it's actually really bad especially around laguna.
Still haven't golded this one but now you've reminded me of it its time to swap my massive high end turbo for a mid-range one and try again...

It's an event you have to work for, but once you get the rythem of the car and track, it's just an example of clean and concentrated racing. Just keep your calm and don't try to push to hard. The understeer of the car is so heavy that it will cost you a lot of time. Just keep the car so slow that it wil not understeer.

Trick: upgrade all performance parts. Then use engine limiter. That way engine-torque is higher.

Then lower car and stiffen springs littlebit. Adjust transmission. No need to use spesific tune.

Its all about practising maintaining speed through the corners on this one

Good luck mate

Erik

Yeah this one is a pain. Search for the dedicated thread on this one it's not hard to find, there are a number of tunes/setups recommended which is a must IMO.

I got there in the end but man, what an effort. Remember to absolutely nail the apex of every corner cleanly (theres a dot clearly marking it) and remember to come off the gas or the brakes before you try and turn or suffer massive understeer as a result.

Great piece of advice 👍

I was finally able to gold this as a result, thanks!

All I could manage in that blasted Expert race was... maybe fourth. You're allowed a host of modifications to your car, but only as long as you don't exceed the basic requirements, the race will be quite brutal for all of the Expert Series races. I even managed a lowly 7th doing the Elise one.

All I can say is- DON'T GIVE UP!
