It's very simple! Play your replay, turn synchronised mode, than open your console dvd tray. in the next step You need to press X button to find appropriate angle.

There are 3 replay modes. When your replay starts, hit "Square" once to get rid of the HUD, and twice for "Music Sync" mode. Once you are in the correct replay mode, eject the disc (works on all PS2's and even PS3) and change the camera angle with the "X" button. The angle will stay until you hit "X" again, or re-insert the disc.

EDIT: I fixed your vids, Mr. Magic. In the future, you only need to copy what comes after the "=" in the Youtube url, and place it between

I tried this (i have a slim PS2 so all i did was open the disc door?) but the replay in the "music sync" mode kept changing and would not stay with the angle i wanted.
one question tho, does this only work with replays played in the replay theatre or any replay immediately after the race?
i seem to be doing something wrong or missing something somewhere :dunce:

It works best for hotlaps, when you are the only car on track. Also, some of the races (Special Condition Events especially) still try to change angles. Most of the time it works a treat, though. It works just fine with a slim. Just open the disc tray after the replay has been set to music sync. It takes about 5 to 10 seconds for the angles to stop changing. Once they do, you can change the angle with the "X" and it will not change until you hit "X" again, or close the disc tray.

;)

I just got it to work while watching my Ginetta race around Costa di Amalfi against the Impreza Spec C.

YEa, you gotta have it in the sync mode. Open the door to the Playstation (or eject disc). Now press X. The camera will follow the car for a few seconds, but the replay won't forward to the next camera. It gets kinda stuck, although you can still hear the cars zooming off in the distance. Press the X button again, and whatever camera happens to be filming the cars will be activated.

Kinda cool, but I still think GT3 had the best replay system with the most angles :grumpy: I hate GT4's sync-mode...it gives me a headache. :(:banghead:

OK will try tonight when i get home from work :)

update Eureka, it worked!!
